I'm about 1\3 through Jedi Academy VR if i remember the mission structure correctly. Having tons of fun with both blaster shootouts and lightsaber killing sprees. I tried to draw "Rosh is a fag" sign at the empire base on Hoth, but unfortunately hit the decal limit. Gotta check if i can increase it like with RtCW VR in options.

Then there is still Jedi Outcast VR. Never played it before in flatscreen. I think it's about that Kyle guy who mentors you in Jedi Academy.

Playing Doom: Eviternity.
This is one of my favorite megawads. It is very polished, level design is generally solid, also very visually appealing.
I do not recommend playing this one, if it is your first time playing it, on Ultra-Violence. Play it on a lower difficulty. This wad can get fairly difficult.

The real stars, in my opinion, are the secret levels - "Imperator" and "Anagnorisis".
"Anagnorisis" is a gargantuan level, might take you up to an hour and a half to finish it. I would recommend Eviternity just for these two maps alone.
Highly recommended for all Doom enjoyers.

lol this dude thinks eviternity is hard.

My favorite is the first hell level + all the elysium levels. Also Dehydration.

Eviternity 2 was made for DSDA Doom. GZDoom seems to have some issues with MBF21? But they made sure it's compatible and playable.
I played it back in July. But I think I'll go through it again, soon. I'm curious about Annihilate Me. There's also a new monster type that's exclusive to that difficulty.

I got the Dark Souls trilogy years back and am finally working my way toward the end of DS3. I just got to Anor Londo, which was a nice call back to DS1. When I realized where I was I simultaneously went "oh neat" and "oh man..." because the Pokemon bosses in that area in DS1 gave me a fair bit of trouble.

Ravenswatch disappoints me.
Only 3 maps, same 2 reskinned enemies over and over again, extreme difficulty because everything is tied to your dash which has an unnecessary cooldown, your character will not shut the fuck up for even 10 seconds, most upgrades feel like they do nothing.
And my favorite: to extend the literal 2 hours of game they have, they just quadruple the HP of every enemy and boss to the absurd. I'm talking about spending 10+ minutes holding left click on the same boss and it just won't die.
A shame, because playing as dark versions of fairytales characters had potential. Like how the Pied Piper is constantly summoning rats or how Red RIding Hood transforms into a werewolf.

RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In
I've been playing Eternights:

It's similar to Persona but it's a hack and slash instead of turn based combat. Obviously, it's also an indie game with a tiny budget, so production value is low. The writing is silly and dumb but in a fun way. The minigames can be quite annoying through.

You guys ever play the Sunder wad for Doom 2?
Good stuff, but it is a slaughter wad, so expect huge amounts of monsters and relatively straightforward level design.
Map 11 "The Furnace", oh man...

Then there's the absolute insanity named "Okuplok", a wad which has achieved notoriety due to its difficulty and for having a grand total of 23,211 monsters...

Micro Slaughter Community Project is really good. Not too over the top, fairly good as far as slaughter maps go.

Mouthwash: another 2 hours long, indie horror, going insane simulator, this time in space.
I learned 2 things from this game:
1-Psych evaluations are completely useless
2-Do not allow any woman aboard your ship
Pretty entertaining overall.

Not me but a friend of mine's playing RoboCop: Nigger City. Seriously, the amount of niggers is off the charts there compared to the movie, which the creators of the game so allegedly love. All the punks are apparently white (males) tho. Pole bros, how come?

In a mood where i can't muster the will play something big again, trying some demos again.

Demiurges
A Deck builder and HoMM hybrid. Meh, didn't grab me and i am not a fan of visuals.
Dobbel Dungeon
A tactical RPG/Roguelike where your actions cost dice to use. I found it genuinely fun, plenty of abilities to play with and encounters are varied. I even made a thread but it appears that the visuals mindbroke codexers. Despite the name doesn't actually feature any dungeons.
The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot
Another spiritual succesor to Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. It's fun.
Here is some gameplay.

I've been playing some Blood, since it's been a long time since I last played it.
Great game, one of the Build Engine classics along with Shadow Warrior and Duke Nukem 3D.
Playing on "Well Done" difficulty and those hitscanning cultists can be bothersome at times.

After I finish it and its expansions I will play Deathwish, the critically acclaimed mod for Blood, arguably one of the best mods ever made for a game. It's what Blood 2 should've been.

Started these last week, we will see which ones i stick with:
Nexus The Jupiter Incident - lastp played in 2005, its crazy how good looking the game still is. Plus there arent many like out there. And it does what it aimed for really really well.
Simpsons Hit and Run - really fun, so many references to the show.
Secret Files Tunguska - standard fare adventure game, but looks good and intriguing so far.
Alpha Centauri - first time actually trying to play, not bad at all. Great atmosphere. Ive just started but looks like it has great mechanics
Aliens vs Predator 2010 - playing for the 4th time, i just like it.
Imperialism 1 - Very cool game so far but im still trying to understand it.
Startopia - first time actually playing, really fun and quirky.
System Shock 2 - doesnt play like a dungeon crawler like the first game, but im really enjoying it so far.

I played two PC Fighting Fantasy books, House of Hell and Forest of Doom

Very nostalgic and worthwhile experience and reminded me of the incredible time when I was kid and we didnt have a PC so books and Tabletop games was how we played fantasy games. These PC versions of the books are exactly like the original narratives with some understandable mechanic changes like how you can save and restore anywhere and a convenient map

I bought 3 more to play later

I decided to play Two Worlds 2, its fun. It has some unusual designs and mechanics but its a cheesy and entertaining RPG, its not complex but its fun

So, in Crow Country:
Hold space to aim, and the arrows keys to move the laser sight.
L to reload
K to shoot
O/P to move the camera
And you cannot remap these controls? I cannot use the mouse? In a 2024 game? Fucking backwards nonsense.
