Will you play Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?

Well, they didn't asked me for code review or for just looking at the game to see some correctable flaws before they released. So no, I will not bother to play it even for review. Looks like my decision to NOT do work for Austria company was correct. While some Austrian companies are obsessed with idea that when Czech do something better than Austrians that they need to immediately get that company under their control so the next result would be Austria-related. Letting foreign company to buy their own company might be good business decision, but it hurts art and quality of end game.
Also I suspect they hired too many foreigners which killed coherency of their company. If I say it was good game, Sid Meyer would turn in the grave. But it was passable game that has some artistic direction. Actually this reminded me how THC Nordic screwed up ELEX 2. Yea... Nuff said.

Also what other bad decision could they make... Cubicles. Yea, Cubicles are very western, they could introduce cubicles. So if this game would be buggy mess, even when they have larger team, then you can blame cubicles. People couldn't concentrate in that noise.

Not right now. I had the game pre ordered but there are too many red flags. Also Vavra acted like a giant clown in the last few days. If the black dude is the worst part I might buy the GOTY edition at a 75% discount down the line. If the leaked homo romance options are real I am never touching anything made by Warhorse or Vavra ever again.

No. Still haven't finished the first one, and apart from the realism and being "based" (until Vavra cucked himself beyond redemption), it really isn't THAT great.

The fact that Warhorse decided to mimic the Western degeneracy tropes right at the end of the whole DEI debacle will never stop being amusing though.

I voted for the edgy option, but would be willing to go for the massively discounted option unless it's even worse than I expect. I don't think there was ever a chance I would like the sequel as much as the original game, however, since I like the idea of working up from almost nothing.

Wait what?
Okay, Czechbros, I was gonna lament the fall of Warhorse with you, but now I'm gonna bully you like I bully the P*les.
So Henry is now a faggot.

WHAT... THE... FUCK...
You people are completely brainrotted at this point. Assuming you actually mean this.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 does feature sexual sequences and nudity, but so far during my preview of the game, I’ve yet to stumble upon any LGBTQ themes bar a couple of romantic conversation options with a same-sex character.
At the same time, it is a role playing game, so it is purely up to the player what decsions they make and for all the decisions they make, they are resposible for the consequences that correspond to the morals and social norms of the time.

To me this looks like there will be homossexual romance options in the game.

Edit: before some smartass come with that comic talking about the gay sex button there is a gigantic difference between a blank slate character having homo romance options (something I dont like but can tolerate) and a fixed and already established straight character suddenly having his sexuality be dependant on player choices. It would be the same thing if in the Witcher 3 Geralt had an option to tell the other witchers he wanted to suck their cocks.

I was initially set to buy KCD 2 on day one, mostly because I loved the first game and wanted to support the developer.

Now, I'm not sure I'll buy it at all. My reasoning isn't confined to our implausibly melinated doctor friend, or the rumors of unskippable gay encounters. Vavra's disingenuous victim-card antics ice the cake. He certainly leaned into, and undoubtedly profited by, a chud-friendly marketing campaign for the first game--the outraged headlines in mainstream lib media were probably worth millions in free publicity. Now that he's taken some flack from the right side of his fan base, he's playing the above-it-all middle grounder, pointing at only the most extreme of his questioners ("a literal NAZI"), so as to legitimize his indignation at being questioned, and to distract from his lack of answers.

He's acting like an oily scumbag, in short. I'm in no rush to reward that behavior, even if the game were to prove DEI-free, after all. (That won't happen.)

The beauty part is that I'm already drowning in games. Even if I did grab this one on day one, I probably wouldn't get around to playing it for another 2-3 years, anyway. There is quite literally zero reason in this environment to buy any major release at full price, EXCEPT FOR personal loyalty/affection. Warhorse used to have mine.

Added to the backlog, but will check out reviews first before buying it if and when I feel like giving it a try. Won't play on release in any case.

This was probably the only non-indie game I was waiting for past few years, and was quite excited for it. So I will play it.

As far I think (I have no real info), the gay stuff is only about the main villain Toth, which was already implied in the first game. I think only adds disgust to his character, which is fine.

However, I will mod the nogger stuff out of the game and I'm currently zero interested in investing money to this turncoat action about nignogs in 15th century Bohemia. I'm glad they decided against Denuvo. :smug:

I'll play it down the line, when it's finally patched. The first game was released in abysmal technical state, e.g. I had to reload several times trying different things searching for a workaround to a NPC spawning mid-air and falling to her death. And that was before you got the savior schnapps recipe. I won't even mention the bugs outside of the main quest.

I got bored with the first one halfway through and never got back to it, so I do not see myself playing a more wokenized version of the same.

Plus I got to see Vavra live and realized he's even bigger moron than I thought, his chad days of "there were no black people in medieval Czechia, sod off snowflakes" are long over.

Yeah, i remember it perfectly. One of the main plot essential npcs got stuck in a ladder and i increased my stats to the max by beating the shit out of him for 30 minutes. Then i randomly stumbled upon an unlocked chest with full top of the line plate armor and weaponry, and it was few meters away from the road i was riding on. The end game siege quest was almost impossible to finish because of how broken it was, not to mention the shit performance.

My second playthrough of patched game with all dlcs was nothing like that and i spent much more time enjoying the game and it's mechanics before i finished it.

After some consideration, I will.

As far as historicity is concerned, the first game sacrificed it left and right for gameplay and narrative accessibility, and also because Vavra is a godless Pepik. A major part of the fun I had with the game was pointing out where the devs went full Braveheart in regards to social conduct, religion or ethnic issues of the period.

That obviously doesn't mean there are no limits, but everyone gets one chance with me. If I feel Vavra fucked up, I simply won't bother with his next project.

Sure I will.

One black dude and a bunch of sodomites won't stop me from enjoying Vavra's opus magnum.

Will buy it soon after release (if there is news about GOG I'll wait and purchase it there) and play most likely in Autumn, I want to give Warhorse some time to polish the game and maybe add 1 or 2 dlcs.

Yeah, sure. I never deluded myself into thinking an asiatic jewish guy was the savior of the white race in the first place, so I don't really care about him "betraying" me. The controversy is funny but I expect the other 99.99% of the (presumably enormous) game to be pretty much more of the same, and I liked the first one just fine. Hell, I'll be content just wandering around nice-looking forests picking herbs for a large amount of that playtime.

Still having an ancient PC is kind of a game itself at this point. Something better be insanely good to make me upgrade.

Came here to check the news/thoughts on this sequel, bore witness to the Codexlets getting their panties in a bunch over the possibility of a black, or even gay person in a large urban area (oh noes!) and immediately preordered the Gold edition.

To be fair, I’ve finally gotten around to playing the original and it’s one of the better experiences I’ve had in gaming, but I’ve never preordered a game before this one. And probably won’t again unless it’s something that makes whiney bitches lose their shit.
