i want to pickpocket trinkets that npcs are wearing. Anyone tried this? https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47581

EDIT: to steal trebonius necklace at 100 sneak, with above mod, you need to reduce wear penalty from 40 to 30 in mod settings
Use MoreQuickLoot: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/53809

The UI is better and even shows you your chance at pickpocket and wheter you're detected or not, check the images.

Also Trebonius seems to not have his necklace equiped, so it's fairly easy to steal from him. You can just do it with a invisibility potion

Why do a sizeable amount of people prefer to play Morrowind's Xbox port?
Are there?
I don't remember being that many who are playing it on Xbox.
But I guess it might ever since there's been a renewed interest in Morrowind.

Less "prefer" and more people playing it in 4K on their Xbox One X. Some people just find installing a video game on a PC to be totally mystifying. Hell, they might not even own a personal computer. They can get all of their emails etc. on their phone and only use a computer at work.

Many of them are just casual gamers and don't want to put money and some effort into building a PC.
Even though pretty much everyone knows that PC is and always will be the greatest option, but it requires more money and investment.

PC version has no controller support and the UI is slightly different. also, all walking simulators like Death Stranding and Elder Scrolls are better with analogue movement

Also, there's a challenge that comes from the Official Xbox Magazine that has exclusive items. Not really worth it in my opinion, but it is still worth mentioning.
Not really worth mentioning when you can just mod in whatever items you want on PC.

This came out yesterday.
Mercy - Combat AI Overhaul

List of potential behaviors from the description

-- Hitting an npc might pull nearby friends if they are in a line of sight.
-- NPCs might be unwilling to engage, warn player not to come closer (probability based on disposition towards the player)
-- Can chase, fallback, strafe around in combat. Walk menacingly. Rare actors will jump around or run around the player full-speed.
-- Chain attacks together, max amount of attacks depends on a weapon skill
-- Make mistakes in picking best attack types (more mistakes at lower weapon skill)
-- Some might get angry when spammed with quick attacks and respond with a similar quick spam
-- At low hp (<33%) each damage even has a chance of making them scared, which in turn will result in an attempt to run away searching for a friendly npc, or in asking for mercy, giving up all the items they possess (except their clothing/armor) and leaving the combat state.
-- Probably other smaller things that I forgot about.

Needs a lot of work. Here's a video.

I think it has potential. But right now it's too random. The PvP mod by Archimag does the same thing but better. See for yourself.

The mod consists of modules, each of which can be enabled or disabled in the settings:
* Parry (when the attacker hits his opponent's weapon)
* Dodging enemies in close combat
* Enemies dodging your projectiles
* More frequent enemy attacks
* NPCs can hold the swing as a player
* Increase chance to hit (disabled by default)

normie What do you disagree with?

NPC behavior in that recent AI overhaul is too random, like I said. You can see it in the video. For example, the guard will spazz or do nothing while you are fighting with his friend. Needs a lot of work.

EDIT: Yeah just a butthurt bum :-D
