Maybe? There's a regular steam version of Morrowind?I have the regular Steam version of MW. Should I wait to play the game until I purchase the GOTY version?

I'm trying to install watercolor mod, but it requires GOTY edition.I'm pretty sure the regular steam version is the goty edition. If not, the expansions don't matter yet, they are high level content anyway, you can just wait until you are ready to get them, the base game has enough to occupy for a while.
This. And at low enough skill you won't be able to identify effects in potions as well (IIRC).From the wiki:
So at every 15 levels you reveal a new effect.
- 0-14: No effects visible
- 15-29: 1 effect visible
- 30-44: 2 effects visible
- 45-59: 3 effects visible
- 60-100: All 4 effects visible
Below, your best friend in Morrowind:Only recipe you need to know: ash yam + bloat
oh boy have you chosen the wrong mod.HEY! I'm going to try this again. This time with BTB's mods.
Can you help me make a mage character?
Madd Leveler then!oh boy have you chosen the wrong mod.
It IS true.^Not 100% true. Can't do the FG and TG AFAIK. Also, being in MG affects HT.
You know, I once beat the game larping a nude drunkard that got through 99% of the plot with bare fists. It's pretty much impossible to gimp your character in Morrowind. The only danger is that you struggle early game because you level too fast thanks to primary skills like athletic and acrobatic. Can you help me make a mage character?
Oh I know that feel. You might want to jump straight to the expansions, they are quite a bit more challenging.I became god too soon and now completing the main quest is boring for me.
