Octorocks repair weapons, or I'm 99% sure they do even after 2 upgrades I've only done it once because it's a pain that's why they should've just done it properly and have the goron guy repair weapons for example.

Nearly finished the Desert/Lightning Temple before I gave up on trying to figure out how to get to the eastern battery with the fire burning above. But it was a good dungeon. Was relieved, because I thought they were all going to be underground and filled with gloom like the Fire Temple.

Desert temple was nice, sky/rito temple was lame and made me miss the old dungeons. Hope next Zelda can somehow mix the open world with the classic dense design, since the series (the 3D ones I mean) will never go back to totally dense after Breath.

Link's sideburns bother me. Cut it off! Would have been cool if he was a small boy in Breath and a late teenager in this one, instead of looking the same while a bunch of characters aged. Kid Link is better, though.

Dupe glitch still works? I just want a green outfit but they all cost fucking tons of star fragments to upgrade, I have my limits -_-

Old ones got patched, but there's options for a Fuse glitch (if you're not far into the story) and a multishot bow glitch, but you need to be pretty far in the story to do that one. Look them up on youtube if you want a guide.

Never mind, haven't been to the named places yet and don't wanna get spoiled. Why do all the actual Link outfits have to cost some esoteric resource to make decent :argh:

Found a way to nigger those "hit the target with the ball" shrines after failing one like 10 times
attach ball to weapon and throw it :D

Very good game, still haven't beaten it despite playing it early. Lots of other stuff to do in life lol.
The longer I've thought about the story though, the less I like it. The delivery, the story itself, it's all pretty bad when compared to literally any other game in the Zelda series.

Well I haven't played any other Zelda game except for Botw. And now Totk.
I don't know a thing about the story, nor do I really care. Plus I've seen posts on how the lore has been decimated apparently, retconned or explanations with multiple universes and timelines so at this point yeah.......arrow plus bomb flower make things go boom. Chuchu jelly can copy elemental properties. Etc.
Also I like the powers in Totk a lot more than in Botw. You can get a lot more creative. Which is always a plus at least for me.

It boggles my mind that people care about lore in Zelda games. I've seen anons being really upset about it on /v/ and I'm like really, who cares?

Here's the closest thing you'll get to "Zelda lore" but it shouldn't be taken seriously since it's mostly an attempt to connect the games that aren't already obviously connected (like Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask).

"For every Zelda game we tell a new story, but we actually have an enormous document that explains how the game relates to the others, and bind them together."Shigeru Miyamoto (Interview:Superplay Magazine April 23rd 2003)
"Yes, there is a master timeline but it is a confidential document! The only people to have access to that document are myself, Mr. Miyamoto and the director of that title. We can't share it with anyone else!"Eiji Aonuma
"Famitsu asked series producer Eiji Aonuma, and Breath of the Wild director Hidemaro Fujibayashi what the changes meant, and this was their reply: Eiji Aonuma, series producer: “Well of course it’s at the very end. But, I get what you’re asking, it’s which timeline is it the end of?” Hidemaro Fujibayashi, director: “That’s… up to the player’s imagination, isn’t it?” Aonuma: “Hyrule’s history changes with time. When we think of the next game and what we want to do with it, we might think, 'Oh, this’ll fit well', and place it neatly into the timeline, but sometimes we think, 'Oh crap', and have to change the placement. Actually, the decided history has been tweaked many times.” (laughs)"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Has Been Added To The Series’ Official Timeline, Siliconera.

I don't even care about the princess. Especially now that she talks. Just make Link an adventurer going from kingdom to kingdom.

Maybe I will be jovially annoyed with myself when I figure out what the solution is, but until I do this puzzle is crappy. Held the door open with the platforms, took the ball out of the groove that opened the door and moved it inside the space (that the Zora is standing on) with the water wheel. The ball glows inside certain areas of the little space. I don't know what the goal even is. I can't get the ball out now unless I leave and come back, since it needs to be in the groove to open the door.
