Did Athena even appear in the OG? Maybe in the campaign? I don't remember there being an option to get Gods to join directly.
Athena looks fine, but im conflicted about Arkantos...

She shows up on the campaing as a unit. She is also on the scenario editor. (some custom multiplayer scenarios use her)Did Athena even appear in the OG? Maybe in the campaign? I don't remember there being an option to get Gods to join directly.

I think RTS games suffered from some of the biggest decline in gaming I've seen over the last decade and a half. It's constant fail after failThey are doubling down on automation and you can just click on a goldmine, click a button and a villager will automatically be created and they'll build a gold mine by themselves to start collecting gold. Clown world.
It turns out it's worse than I described it as. You can turn on an automatic economy manager that will just manage your entire economy for you.I think RTS games suffered from some of the biggest decline in gaming I've seen over the last decade and a half. To be fair, this is actually a thing. I knew a guy who had black hair and a red beard. One of his nicknames was Barbarossa, heh.>hair and beard different colour
That's a result of a testosterone difficiency IIRC.To be fair, this is actually a thing. I knew a guy who had black hair and a red beard. One of his nicknames was Barbarossa, heh.

This isn't a new idea.they introduced this on age of empire 2 console portThey are doubling down on automation and you can just click on a goldmine, click a button and a villager will automatically be created and they'll build a gold mine by themselves to start collecting gold. its not as good as it sounds if you are on high MMR matches
If it is actually on the level of the hardest AI, that would be... odd.It turns out it's worse than I described it as. When your game's main art piece is an AI generated clusterfuck like this you don't deserve to have your game succeed. The new art:
You had hope?
You had hope? Fuck you. You piece of shit.
if people are offended by skeletons in a game they shouldn't be playing games wtfThey've done this with ALL of the definitive editions (probably a mix of laziness and not wanting to upset the Chinese with skeletons)
probably rewritten the voice lines for "modern audiences" (I don't know just guessing, wouldn't surprise me though)Why did they change the voice actors?
You had hope? Fuck you. You piece of shit.
