Looks great. You may consider making the UI a bit more ornate, or how do they say it these days? Stylised? Just for aesthetic purposes.

Will there be pre-orders available?

Looks amazing, but I must say, the transition from first person to the isometric turn-based combat is really jarring to me. Is there some way to make the animation a little smoother? And I agree with Zibniyat's point about making the UI a little more intricate/ornate. I think it would go a long way towards making the game seem more polished.

Other than that, holy shit am I excited.

Can player change party formation like in Wizardry 8?

Something like that. At the very least in Early Access you'll be able to define party order, of course, but eventually formations should come.

No, the game will be sold when it is ready.

Yeah, it will be improved and will be smoother, many people request that. Right now the camera code is very old and I didn't feel like delaying the video even more, but it should be no problem to transition the rotation of the camera smoothly, rather than instantly looking down.

You can examine some objects for key clues or finds, activate levers, pick up some stuff, etc. Interacting with objects sometimes opens a dialogue-like window with choices.

Sounds good. I suppose my main question is about the amount of skillchecks outside combat and dialog. Like a perception check for those clues, intelligence (or relevant skill) check for getting information out of an item/object/something, and so on.

And the skillchecks are diceroll-based, not deterministc gates, right?

  1. Will this be friendly with Linux?
  2. What's the most powerful thing a player spellcaster will be able to do in this game? Do you have Baldur's Gate 2 tier magic?

Would you dare call this Old Skool Elder Scrolls Style RPG? How big will it be? How much hardcore role-playing systems? Will there be nude priestesses? How big is your studio? Looks to me like mix of Daggerfall, Morrowind and Expeditions series. Very promising, indeed!

Some of the answers to those questions would require too many explanations for the time being. Linux: should happen, given I'm using Unity, but we haven't even tested it yet and can't make promises until I see it working, and very likely it'll be just PC-Windows for the first EA version. I'll try to update with more details in the weeks/months to come. Definitely Morrowind is one of my influences but the strongest one is Pool of Radiance (1988).
