Plot twist: the games only get really shit once you're 10 hours in, and they have 100 hours of content so 90% of it is gonna be shit!

It's Ubisoft open world games, they're hugely bloated so 6 hours in you barely even scratched the surface.

All Assassins Creed games were more combat focused than actual stealth focused, they're not Thief or Hitman. You do stealth for as long as you can, take enemies down, and when they spot you, you just go into combat. It was never intended as a pure stealth game, and the takedowns were always brutal.

well, usually they were a quick affair, a push of the blade and that's it. then it came unity, to whom a quick and stealth kill means "push him around, punch him repeteadly, go full hokuto no ken with your stick on him for half an hour, then kick him another couple times just to be sure". i thought that was peak retardation, but ubisoft keeps on giving.
