Skyrim is 13, going on 14, years old. Why not just make it an open-world game? It's easier now than it is has ever been. It would solve so many of Obsidian's problems. It's incredible to me that they miss the bus this blatantly.

Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.

Considering their releases from the beginning to now, they are steadily growing from hero to zero.

Thanks,
Sherry

Apparently attributes cap at 15 and even if you use gear to push that higher, you get exactly zero benefits from that. When will these devs learn that the most fun part about their inane systems is breaking them?

Bethesda is certainly the best at doing open world, but it's not that easy and easier to shoot yourself in the foot. You have to consider that an open world needs to be dynamic, meaning a lot of shit can (and does) break.

Well
WELL

gosh. Here you are. Right up RPGCodex back alley. This has HEAVY SPOILERS.

Let's get it all out.

Thanks,
Sherry

Don't care how the game ends up being, but just wanted to say that I've watched 18 minutes of this review and the guy is a douche waffle. He complaints about shit just because he is too stupid to understand it, and almost maliciously ignores all the lore. This is a waste of time hater review and probably shouldn't be used to form an opinion unless you are mentally retarded.

That said, "professional" journalists giving any game full 100-ratings is almost always a red flag nowadays, so...

Apparently both Amauma and dwarf party members
are gay
, and the game has the same insufferable stench of "every female character is a girlboss that is always right, every male is a coward or idiot" as Deadfire.

"Every companion is gay" shouldn't come as any surprise at all after Tim Cain said he had to put his foot down on that in The Outer Worlds. This is what the writers want to do, only a Based Gay Man like Tim would feel confident enough to demand a stop to that without feeling like a homophobic bigot who needs to check his privilege or whatever.

So basically, with exception of main character all males are wimps, thieves, or homosexuals. "Fish nigger" has larger breasts than any female in the game. And anyone important with exception of main character is female.

So is it game so bad, it's awesome? And from that description it looks like the game is harem.
They write what they know and this is what all the guys are like in SoCal now.

So Infinitron Roguey are you going to buy and play this? Mayhaps't entertain us with screenshots and opinions on this masterpiece that you've shilled for? It's Obsidian! They can do no wrong! Please, we need to know more.
I don't buy most RPGs until a year after release when it's fully patched and at a deep discount. I'll give early support to an underdog here and there.

Bethesda made Skyrim because they made Oblivion and Morrowind first. Obsidian tried to make Skyrim and failed spectacularly. This is their Morrowind.
