Jesus fucking christ, they have recognized their error in both counts and in one case are going to flat out remove the line that's causing controversy.

What the fuck would have pleased you people? Trent Oyster taking a flamethrower and setting Amber Scott on fire and uploading the whole thing to youtube? "HEY FUCKERS WASSUP HERE AT BEAMDONG THSS IS WHAT WE DO TO SJWS NOW THANKS FOR MAKING US SEE THE LIGHT. ALSO, WE'RE REMOVING OUR GAME FROM STEAM BECAUSE YOURE RIGHT IT SUCKS! THANKS!"(In before "Lolololol yeah that's what we want" replies)

I know that this crusade is a huge part of some peoples lives on both sides of this retarded bullshit, but learn to take your victories, move on and get a fucking grip, seriously

It would please me. Death to the heretics!

You have Amber dedicating large chunks of the expansion to this pretty unimportant character.. Shar-Teel would make much more sense to take center stage.. but Amber can't let her waifu be forgotten in the werewolf cave.. oh no.
She must shine front and center.. but no romance.. Keep your filthy paws off Ambers Waifu!
And this is the part we discover Immortal agenda was romancing Safana all along

BG1 is not considered a great RPG.

Yes it was/is. http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/131493/baldurs_gate_ii_the_anatomy_of_a_.php

Baldur's Gate beat the odds and was both a critical and a commercial success (it collected nearly all of the industry's PC RPG of the year awards and a few "Game of Year" awards, and it has since sold about 1.5 million copies worldwide).

BG1 was good for what it was, but hardly great, let alone "one of the greatest of all time"

I hope this expansion reignited modder's interest for a Safana degrading romance mod.

Huh. I guess my own BG1 bias was showing there. I always thought it was subpar to BG2 as well as some other RPGs. I still think it's a lot more bland than BG2. Good show old chap.

That's because in '98 there was no competition.

You don't flog your own employees in public. What Amber Scott did is their fault too. They placed her in a position she wasn't suited to. (actually, this may be why she was eventually promoted to marketing)

She might be gone, but only in time for:

:dgaider:

And we all know how Gaider feels about:

:incloosive:

In fact, he has the support of Anita Sarkeesian herself:

So I don't know what's going to change, exactly, given that Gaider's last few games were practically direct political statements.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire
It's one after another.

That nope is the culmination of a master writer right there

I dont even know what to choose because all the answer anger them XD
Are the journal entries really that short? Like if you check your journal is that all it says?

It say less. That was one of my first let down with this expansion.
What a disappointment. I'm guessing the quests are as simple as the entries then.

Fallout 2 and Might and Magic 6. :)

Fallout 2 was serious competititon. But Might and Magic was on its way out, although 6 was still very popular. Recycling the engine was a big mistake for the franchise. By 6 it looked somewhat old but playable, but by 7 it was just too late, and the game was openly criticized for being lazy in this aspect, and wasn't considered a "top of the line" rpg anymore.

Might and Magic VI was a critical success upon release. Gamespot gave the game a 9.1 out of 10 and called it "a standout game in what should be a great year for role-playing game fans", as well as saying "the graphics in Might and Magic VI are the best yet seen in a 3D first-person-perspective role-playing game." [20] IGN gave the game a 9.0 out of 10 in their 1998 review, saying "any fan of role-playing games should already own this game... [it] satisfies on a level that no RPG has in years. Highly recommended for almost everyone." [21] RPGFan.com also gave the game a 9.0 out of 10, citing the gameplay as a particular strength. "When all is said and done, the sheer fun of exploration and character development is more than enough to keep playing Might and Magic VI. It can get tedious at times, and the gameplay and graphics have a few limitations. That alone is not enough to drag the game down, and in the end, the end result is more than the sum of its parts. Choose to enter the land of Enroth, and you'll find yourself playing for well over 100 hours." [22]

There was a time when those ugly 3D graphics were praised :what:

We were all hyped for Grimoire. MM stood no chance.
