We can all take comfort that no matter what they do to BG3, they can never take NWN2 OC away from us

Are you honestly saying that NWN2 relates to the city of Neverwinter the same way BG3 relates to Baldur's Gate?
Both of them start out with a quest to get to their titular city, so far, yes?[/QUOTE]

Yeah, but no recurring character in BG3 at all, and it's unlikely that you'll meet any in the future because the whole thing is set in the totally different time period.

Whereas Neverwinter is ruled by the same dude in both 1&2, and the betrayal of the pretty paladin lady is talked about throughout 2. Also, the nice Kobold companion returns in the 2nd game as a vendor and tells you of the adventures of the last hero.

Yes?

And why would that even matter to you when BG2 had nothing to do with the city of Baludur's Gate?

For that matter NWN2 wasn't a direct sequel to NWN1 either.

You're a total hypocrite who just hates that "Larian" is on the box for whatever bizarre reason.

It's already confirmed that characters will be back (eg, Minsc, potentially Edwin) and that they are alive thanks to WotC decisions, not Larian's.

Frankly, I would have preferred it be completely detached from BG1&2, but you're totally wrong and don't know what you're talking about.

I've told you the exact reasons many times. You just never listened.

PS: Now I get how you can be "Literally Hitler" and "Zionist Agent" at the same time lol...Pretty "Bat Shit Insane" too.

Minsc joins your party.
Almost guaranteed we'll see Coran in the city.

How old is Minsc now? Coran died in my BG games lol...
Minsc was petrified as a statue for centuries.

Drizzt died in my BG1 playthrough, but that didn't stop him from being resurrected in BG2.

Blame FR's high magic setting.

I'm pretty sure you posted 10 times more than I ever did lol...
Not in one thread, not back-to-back posting, older account, etc. How can you be so arrogant that you're this retarded, yet still think people need to hear you repeat the same opinion ad nauseum?

So you admit that you just hate Larian lol.

Larian did this completely unlike any other Larian game. They did Bioware dialog better than Bioware ever did. The stat checks and branching conversations would make Arcanum blush. The story is absent of stupid Divinity-style humor. There's no over reliance on environmental effects in the combat.

I wouldn't know it was a Larian game just by playing it apart from a few traps, but none of that is enough for you.

You're unreasonable and should be ignored.

Seems like I would rather play the campaign leading up to him becoming a statue.

Side note: Did y'all ever read the Drizzt novels? I didn't like him in the BG games because he acts way different from the books.

Minsc becoming a statue is almost as good an ending as "rocks fall, everybody dies" in NWN2, so I'm sure you'd enjoy it.

:prosper:

Seriously, are you a total parody or what?

Yes. Because it's got nothing to do with the original series. Because that one ended conclusively with ToB. But without the name attached Wokezards probably couldn't sell their drivel.
WotC would benefit a lot from having Larian working on 5E DnD game regardless if it was called "Baldur's Gate" or not, because Larian has got a reputation of making successful cRPGs. This alone makes any next game of theirs something a lot of people are looking forward to. It's the same thing with Cyberpunk 2077: a popular cRPG developer creating another cRPG.

Narrator = Talana from Divinity 2 and Malady from Original Sin 2, and Sindra from Elex (store owner in berserker town).

She apparently voiced 'Nyrissa' in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.
By the way what really happened to talana and how did Ygerna get into our head?
