Any news about the lv cap on the final release?

Initially was 10 aka a very "dungeons & kobolds" game. Then was "above 10 but not even close to 20" and now?

If you count Lucian as the main antagonist of DOS 2, you could argue he falls somewhere on the good axis.
After all the fantasy nazi bullshit he done in the game, I would say this version of the character is neutral at best. Goddamn I wish the game gave me the option to kill him.

Now that I started remembering my time with D:OS 2 I just hope Larian does not forcefully kill half of the companions for no reason at the end of Act 1 in BG3, because that was an absolutely retarded design decision.

Will companions be interchangeable during long rest?
Yes, at the start of your adventure your recruited companions will be at camp when not in the adventuring party, and can be swapped in and out at camp. Just like friends in real life! After the first act however you are going to have to commit, also just like in real life.
This infuriated me at the beginning, but honestly now I'm more or less okay with this. Who am I going to miss? Astarion? Wyll?

I think they already confirmed something like that will happen at some point in the narrative. The plot is already set up for that well as well. I bet what will happen is any of the companions that aren't with you when the tadpole does eventually get dealt with, will turn into mind flayers.

Know Alignment is a story-destroying spell that should never have existed.
The spell Detect Evil has existed since original Dungeons & Dragons in 1974 and was a mere 1st level spell for clerics as opposed to 2nd level for magic-users. Perhaps the underlying issue lies with poorly-constructed stories that depend on the players being deceived about someone's alignment. :M

There's plenty of ways to not only hide your alignment but make the various detection spells read the wrong alignment.

Plus DM could always rule it that it only picks up on objects or individuals intent to do you or your allies harm rather than the ability to see all evil lurks in the hearts of men.

Insert Title Here Pathfinder: Wrath
I think it does, doesn't it?
As far as I remember, he only gets knocked out, never trully dead.
If you play as Lohse and side with her demon, he dies permanently.
Now I regret even more making a custom character, because I would've loved to see that

You’re being played. It’s White Mantle from Guild Wars Dark Materials bullshit. Oldest trick in the book.

Pathfinder: Wrath
"When Urgathoa is pleased, common food tastes delicious, water turns to fine wine, and meals are never so filling that the diner feels uncomfortable. There are also stories of starving worshipers unexpectedly finding injured or freshly killed meat"
And then you become undead and you can never enjoy any of those things ever again. Say no to evil bitches tempting you with delicious food, there's always a catch.

Worshiping Urgathoa is the most obvious scam as I'm sure Asmodeus at least comes with a dental plan. Then again: Scientology, the Moonies, the Falun Gong, Calvinism. The real world is full of people being silly.

Grab the Codex by the pussy Strap Yourselves In Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Well, the afterlife for evil characters in Pathfinder is rather gruesome. So much so that becoming undead is probably better.

Worshiping evil deities is like smoking - a terrible idea, but you look cool doing it.
