Could be worse.

I suppose people who need to lower their settings this much are used to it though.

This thread went in an unexpected direction I'm surprised that so many people care about graphic in RPGs to be honest i couldn't care less about this.

I'm seriously horrified by this. vtubers should be cute flat chested yandere necromancer girls with green hair who want to do a murder suicide to me so we can share a grave.
Good vtuber avatars are even more expensive than good graphics cards, poor Sunri has to settle
There's another guy I used to talk to a while back that did v tubing and he had the same issue. Basically, you either need to fix your crap or else turn off the eye tracking. You can set your avatar to auto-blink and track your other movements without looking like you're constantly having a seizure.

Its not a hardware problem thats just my eyes and poor lighting its dark in potato land right now.

The hair is especially funny. It's like someone went over it with MS Paint.

Thanks for the advice I will try it, but I doubt it will help I don't know why BG III is not using my hardware to full potential when I play other demanding games my GPU is running like crazy, so I think it just the problem with game, but we will see.

And why did I fail 0 difficulty roll?

A natural 1 on d20 roll = critical failure

how does it run compared to dos2 though
because I remember dos2 running fantastically on a toaster box I was lugging around at the time (aside from the loading times)

A natural 1 on d20 roll = critical failure

in 5e RAW ability checks actually shouldn't get autofail/succeed on a nat 1/20, just saving throws and attack rolls
I don't know if Larian changed that intentionally or if it's a bug

it's playable (but ugly) at very low settings on my crappy old laptop, whereas DOS2 runs fine on medium or high settings

It doesnt say auto fail, it says "increased impact"
auto failing is larians lack of imagination

Most of their choices where it has been DM's choice has been to default to how it was done in prior editions.

Not really their fault for wotc creating a ruleset that frequently tells you to just figure it out on your own.

so make up your mind, is autofail on critical miss based on page 242 of 5th edition dmg or is larian falling back to earlier editions?

Christmas update it seems that cutscenes that should take place in camp are not working, instead a get only dialogue also I used tadpole to influence people and still didn't trigger any cutscenes with my imaginary wife are they also broken?

I must say that designs in this game are hit-and-miss they flopped with goblins but at least Ettercap looks scary bring fond memories from BG I.

They fixed fight with Hag I'm 100% sure that you could push her over the edge one year ago, but now there is some invisible wall that block the way i though that cheese is Larian second name, but it seems that Sven became lactose intolerant.

Just Shadowhearth putting Gith artifact size of her fist in her ass.

I think they are using the following optional rule:

Critical Success or Failure, DMG pg 242

Rolling a 20 or a 1 on an ability check or a saving throw doesn't normally have any special effect. However, you can choose to take such an exceptional roll into account when adjudicating the outcome. It's up to you to determine how this manifests in the game. An easy approach is to increase the impact of the success or failure. [...]

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
The question is if they have everything riding on Baldur's Gate III? Or do we think they are working on other projects, too?
