Get a room, you unchained sex fiends. But then, I guess publicly courting trans people is a time-honored Codex tradition.
Meh a Balkan seduction guide is more entertaining to read than drivel about this game.

at heart you all do want your companion romances
That is true,a lot of lonely people here :). Tho if i want romance i will go for something older, haven't see a game with good romancing in a decade maybe. Maybe i should go and replay the banging of a swam witch game.

You can always DM me when you feel lonely

Let's get real, no Codexer really knows whether 5E (or for that matter 4E) are really "inferior" because they've never played a CRPG that used those systems (with the exception of those few who played the Solasta demo which is no longer available). Everybody's just going off what they've heard from tabletop nerds, but since when did we give a fuck about them?

Uh oh, boys, Infinitron is already at it. Watch out for some extreme shilling incoming in the next months.

Also, I don't know who's the "we" you're talking about, but I for one certainly don't give a fuck about the same things you do. So I'd rather not be lumped in together with decliners and Obsiditards.
That aside, perhaps you should give more fucks about "tabletop nerds", than about clueless Belgians who don't even know the game that they're making a sequel for.

Every single individual who prefers RTwP must be put in front of a firing squad.

WTF.

I stroked out and had a seizure from that picture. Just got back from the hospital. What a fucking horrible picture. Is this some sort of secret government cyber warfare you got your hands on? Shit is awful. Had to leap for my ativan and grab my phone and start screaming for siri to call 911.

I really found it hard to DM that way. After the players announce their shit, how are you not supposed to metagame as a DM now? I rolled the dice for different NPC actions but that is pretty annoying imo. Secondly shit happening at the same time sounds great but my experience is it doesn't work great in play. I tried it several times and had to abandon it. PCs and NPCs need to react to another else you have people running chaotically in different directions and failing their actions.

Oh, yeah, it's difficult, it also requires a more abstract way of playing and using common sense/DM ruling when everything else fails (it probably wouldn't work very well with miniatures and a detailed, tactical grid like in 3.5 D&D) But a computer removes some of the difficulties (and may add new ones though,) so I'm a bit disappointed that very few games have tried that system. It's common to see the complaint that there's little innovation or everything has been done already, but really, a lot of the original D&D rules haven't even been tried in videogames yet (simultaneous turns, monster reaction rolls, a complex system of morale, gold as XP, etc.)

Yep.

That being, while I can enjoy some good ol' Ezra and some symbolist poets (Macedonski in particular), I prefer 19th/20th century Eastern European poets of the romantic and (socialist) realist variety.

Since I can't be bothered to translate Macedonski's excessive usage of metaphors ("Sounds of battle" being my favorite poem of his), have one of his short roundels translated ad literam:
Roundel of bourgeois France

Where is the great France?
What the eyes see, tears you apart.
Oh! the imbecilic bourgeoisie,
And the prideful ignorance.

The sky is of lye,
A shroud for hope,
Where is the great France?
What the eyes see, tears you apart.

Between the mind and idiocy
All distances have been cut. --
All wanted to be equal,
And they are, for certain. --
Where is the great France?

Thread about an incoming CRPG.

Post about 19th century eastern european poetry.

Only on the Codex. In those moments I'm proud be a member here.
