Dark Urge since it allows character customisation and has a unique personal quest. You can actively try to fight the temptations (though there is at least a few scenes where you're compelled to murder with no save)So what would be better, use them or make your own?
It was done so that you can fully respec your character. They added respec for protagonist and companions late into development, and respeccing to change class is a bit weird, if you are stuck with the racial stat distribution for a different class. And changing the race is even more weird, given how backstories and look ties into them.Races not having stats was probably done to prevent "racialism"

Not going good with Josh retweeting this
Race stats were removed, because no one in EA played anything except half-elf’s and drow.wait you can actually make a hot chick with a dick? I haven’t even thought of that. the possibilities are endless
This gender is a social construct shit means male traits and female traits are not associated with gender, so if you pick "body type 2" and you hit randomize you'll get vaginas or pink hair and shit like that. Male and female voices are mixed toghether and don't have a separate category. If the character creation system was more complex i can forsee this would have become incredibly obnoxious, but you only get an handful of choices to pick so you can sort this mess out.
Races not having stats was probably done to prevent "racialism", but you still get abilities which is kinda of a contradiction all though i suppose those could be a result of "cultural" differences.
this combat is going to be so godsdamned good once someone makes a good difficulty mod
most encounters are really well designed, just lacking in enemy numbers and AI
Feel free to add that to the list of complaints, and email it so Swen, so he can print it and wipe his ass with it.It was done so that you can fully respec your character. Gay. Initial choices should be permanent.

I.e. if you want to test builds you should restart the game 1000 times. It's a handy feature. The game is not designed around it in any way.It was done so that you can fully respec your character. you want working conditions in your company to be good enough so that those veterans actually stay there so that their experience can be used to mentor new people and exploited to make a better game.
To be fair, Josh made Mask of the Betrayer (or was there at the end of development, at least), which is very similar to BG3: build on an existing engine, with existing rules, and turned up to 11.you want working conditions in your company to be good enough so that those veterans actually stay there so that their experience can be used to mentor new people and exploited to make a better game.
On a sidenote, Josh did "make the same game" about 3 times already. He did have moderate success each time. But if he didn't have insane success, maybe the problem lies with him, as well as with "the historical moment" being wrong for his game.

Yeah, AI is mostly brain dead and moves like we cast Command "get over here" on them, eating all them AoOs.
Interesting thing is, I remember AI being good in Div OS games. Even party members got a downgrade it seems, they were top notch at avoiding traps that I found in Div OS1-2 but in BG3 they step every god damn trap that is avaiable...
She doesn't have Wyll. Whoever does have Wyll wants Wyll to off her.Lol that devil who's got Wyll in a pact kicks ass. Just met her in the
big underground Mindflayer colony and released her from the pod. She made me laugh so much that I reloaded to deliberately leave Wyll in his contract. Sorry Wyll, if you wanted help you shouldn't have made a deal with an amusing demon. I refuse to free people from pacts that are objectively funny.
I haven't played MotB. Do I have to go through the whole NWN2 for it?To be fair, Josh made Mask of the Betrayer (or was there at the end of development, at least), which is very similar to BG3: build on an existing engine, with existing rules, and turned up to 11.you want working conditions in your company to be good enough so that those veterans actually stay there so that their experience can be used to mentor new people and exploited to make a better game.

MotB is what BG3 reminds me of most, not Dragon Age Origins.
Its a direct continuation, but you can just read a 10 min summary of what happens in the OC and continue from there. The story takes a very sharp turn, the mood and scale is completely different between OC and MotB.I haven't played MotB. Do I have to go through the whole NWN2 for it?
