Just dropping this here!
:oops:I like Mizora a lot:oops:
What a shock that you would like a literal demon. :M

But no, she is an interesting character. A shame she's exclusive to Wyll's questline. Not taking him results in her not being there at a certain later point.

I really wish warlocks in general had each been able to have their own patron, similar to the dream companion. Would have been cool to see your character having to bargain with some eldritch being if you pick the great old one type warlock.

She is not.
You can interact with her or have sex with her but if you do she will turn your essence in to a devil.

And yes i would had loved that. Also she is a Devil not a Daemon.

What are you even saying? Did you even read what I wrote? What worked for you?
You seem upset. The entire interaction worked without bugs. Is English difficult for you?
Astarion is supposed to have, which I guess from scenes I've seen, 2 ways of letting you know he's a Vamp:

1. - big ! appears above his head in camp, you click on him, he says he wants to come clean about being a vamp - which is probably tied to high approval or smth.
2. - You go to sleep and learn he's a vampire because he tries to bite you - which probably is what should trigger if the approval isn't high enough, instead of option 1.

Then with the hunter, game should recognize if either option 1 or 2 happened, and react accordingly.
And it does, given that I've played through both ways now.

I just tested not taking him and asking him later too. Still works. And you claim Larian didn't fix it in a patch. So, who's lying, you or them?
I checked the hotfixes more closely, there is no specific mention of the bug I've had, but there is overall shitload of fixes and changes to early Astarion content, so very possible they fixed it, or on the contrary they introduced it in the hotfix 3, since it has a note about letting you still trigger the bite scene after learning about his secret through different means, so maybe by fiddling with it they created a new bug.

Either way, it's pathetic af that this thing still seemed to be broken in multiple ways at release, after 3 years of EA.

There was a bug one patch ago in wich choice were not saved properly because the muly platform saving feature were breaking the saves.

I am playing a warlock/fighter and the fact that Wyll's patron shows up in his storyline while yours is just an unamed abstract source of power only highlights how that is a real missed opportunity. I guess your patron is the really lazy type.

Whew, finally got past the act 2 door that wouldn't budge thanks to the hotfix. Got ten steps (literally) into act 3 and the game crashed for the first time.

I've had no problems up until this point either.

She is not.
I didn't see her in the mindflayer colony. Where she was supposed to be though.
She is
in one of the capsules the room after where you find zevlor and the other prisoners.
I know. Not there if you don't have Wyll at least at camp.
She is:
Go past the room where the other prisoners and mindflayer were in the pods. You will arrive in a room with a yellow pool of liquid in the middle along the wall there are i think 4 pods the last one contains her.

About what you dumbfuck
I know English is hard for you. I said what you're lying about already.
I don't think any of the hotfixes has any notes about fixing this issue
Well, then maybe you're just lying then. That or maybe you were so horny for bear sex that you just skimmed the dialog and didn't pay attention.

Because it worked fine for me, and I don't think that Larian had the time to revoice lines with him specifically denying that he was a vampire, and as you say, it's not in any patch notes.

So, either Larian snuck in the fix or there was never a problem to begin with.
Btw. funny how Larianfags went from "wow its a super great such bug free game
I've never said the game was bug-free. Another lie.

Not sure how I'm a "Larianfag" when I've criticized them repeatedly either. Lie number three.
WELL HAVING BUGS IS YOUR FAULT FOR PLAYING THE GAME AFTER THE RELEASE
Not saying that. Just noting that you couldn't wait for bear sex. Lie less.

Ok, again: I did and she wasn't there. I even reloaded a savegame and checked. I know exactly where. I've seen it on youtube vids.

Did you kill Wyll and not take him along? Because that's what I did.

No my Wyll is alive.
I didin't kill Karlach and Mizora turned Wyll in to a devil to punish him. That is where you first meet her. Then she will re appear in act 2 commanding Wyll to save a Zariel precious assets from Moonrise Tower (Her)

Well, then that's what I'm talking about. You need to take Wyll along in order to meet Mizora. Otherwise, she's just not in your game. Which sucks.

Yes if you don't have Wyll in the camp or with you she won't appear.

You can still encounter her if you Wyll stays in camp.
But yeah, she should have been a companion. She's fun. She treated Wyll as he deserves it, that fucking hypocrite.

btw. even redditors in love with larian, now are starting to admit that the game is so popular mostly due to the weird perfect storm of PR, and not because of its qualities, and admit they didn't know anything about RPGs or BG, before they saw the gay vampire bearsex tiktok scandal, that made them fall in love with the game.

Say what you want about redditors, at least they're honest with themselves, they admit marketing is all, they admit they love trannies and bearsex, rather than being in permanent cope mode like Larianfag Codexers.

Reminding you that 2 is 10% of 20, that's not insignificant.
If 9 out of 10 times your barbarian and your wizard are equally capable of decrypting arcane runes, your game is not a role playing game. Its a dice throwing game.
This does get better as you level up, and as character abilities become a bigger part of the variance, due to more skill, more proficiency, more buffs. But it keeps being too random, and it starts VERY random.
Yes, the lack of proper ability score checks has been irritating me since the beginning of the game. Even for a check that is referencing an ability score, rather than skill, the character receives a mere +1 bonus per 2 points of the attribute, meaning the value of the ability score is half what it should be.

Moreover, it's ridiculously lazy to conduct all checks relying solely on a 1d20 uniform distribution, rather than varying the die used, with appropriate modifiers, and often using multiple dice to avoid a uniform distribution. Strength checks, for example, should be deterministic or close to it; at most a 1d4+difficulty should be used, so that characters with strength above a narrow range would automatically pass, characters with strength below that narrow range would automatically fail, and characters with strength within that narrow range would gain 25% probability of success per point of strength. Checks for other ability scores would similarly use an appropriate die or dice, depending on the exact situation, with a modifier determined by difficulty.

This game has some weird effort on sound details.
If you take your dog for scouting, the sound of him walking is different to your human character. You can hear his light footsteps and claws ticking against the floor.
Neat. But that doesn't excuse THE BUGS.
