I hope they aren't going to taint Dark Sun after this game.

It is too much based as a setting to be touched by SJW companies.

ME too. I still remember when I saw a 5e Dark Sun game.
  • Pronouns in char sheets
  • Lv 1 wiz spamming firebolt left and right(maigc is hated and should be used discretely in Athas)
  • They fought 7 templars + 2 half giants at lv 1 and won with zero casualties
  • They found a democratic progressist city state in Athas ruled by ... I'm not joking A female DWARF PRESERVER!!!
  • They got a sandship at lv 1 and proceded to explore the world with no worries asbout supplies and water
I Imagine that if Larian ever makes a sequel to Dark Sun : Wake of the Ravager, will be like that. And you will defeat the Borys(lv 30 psionicist/defiler in 2e) at lv 9 like you defeated at God's avatar in the chapter 2.

Larian is not going to touch Dark Sun, for the same reason why WOTC isn't touching Dark Sun: they want to focus on material that appeals to the broadest audience rather than cool material that appeals only to a niche audience. I suspect if Larian touches another D&D campaign than FR it will be something like Dragonlance which is generalist and generic fantasy.

I hope not. Dark Sun was already ruined once. It doesn't need to be ruined again.

Hotfix #11 Now Live!
Version Number: v4.1.1.3956130

Hello everyone,

We’ve got a new hotfix for you today, addressing several bugs, visual issues and blockers.

Have you ever had a romance so intense, that everything melts away? Well, sometimes that isn’t intentional. We’ve fixed an issue where Gale’s romance scene was playing in what looked like some kind of black void. Consider the ambience restored.

We are aware of an issue with kissing animations for Astarion, and are currently working on a fix. We expect this to be released in a future update. Thank you for all your reports and messages, and thank you for playing Baldur’s Gate 3! If you have any bugs to report, please reach out to our support team.

FIXES

  • You can now use soaps encountered in savegames before Patch 4.
  • Fixed the game sometimes freezing indefinitely after a reaction to a spell that hits you with multiple projectiles.
  • Fixed a crash after using a reaction that causes an attack against a dead creature.
  • Fixed an issue causing you to get stuck in certain dialogues unable to continue.
  • Fixed a blocker that could occur when trying to Long Rest.
  • Dominated followers will now follow the party as expected after loading a savegame.
  • Fixed Gale's romance scene playing in what looks like a black void.
  • Fixed a Dark Urge flashback accidentally teleporting you to the Lower City.
  • The Cursed Skulls in Jannath's Estate are now vulnerable to Force and Radiant damage.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented certain characters from executing their behaviours.
  • Fixed citizens and refugees in Baldur's Gate sometimes jittering about the place or not using their proper animations.
  • Fixed some visual artefacts appearing at camp in relation to Dark Urge and Karlach dialogues. This also solved the bloodstain under

suddenly becoming larger after loading a savegame.
  • Wyll and Minthara should now properly kiss a second time without the need to retrigger the dialogue.
  • Fixed an issue where a companion's camp night dialogue could be replaced by a different dialogue that couldn't trigger during a previous night.

BUT NOW I AM PLAYING STARFIELD FUCK YOU LARIA

Baizuo's Gate 3 is a very mainstream game, maybe in the next proton update, it will become playable again.

But playing Starfield? Why? IF you really wanna to play BG3, you can easily find an older patch(you already brought the game) and use heroic games launcher to run in Linux. I had problems running it in my Debian and solved my problem that way till a update fixed my problem.

BG3 is better.

Nope. Dark Sun : Wake of the Ravager has one of the best turn based combats ever.

Saw this thing.

No explanation as to how to install and what game version it requires. Anyone got any idea?

This retard. Calls people "luddites" for laughing at Stadia + Game Streaming services...

Goes out and buys a fucking Steam Deck.

Lol.

Try to guess why I was technically able to play Starfield on my Steam Deck & Linux Desktop whereas BG3 stopped working. Come on, try a guess.

Starfield works perfectly on xCloud.

Goes out and buys a fucking Steam Deck.

Steam deck can run far more games than Stadia.

Stadia has 279 games ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Stadia_games ) while Steam Deck has 4,169 verified games and 12,462 verified or playable according to protonDB. According to protonDB, in the top 1000 steam games, only 3% "borked" and they break mostly due anti cheat and stupid launchers.

I don't think that generic fantasy always outsell everything else.

Morrowind was the second most sold game in original XBOX, sure, its sales can't compare to Skyrim, but the marketsize of gaming in early 00s was much smaller and for a mostly PC title ported into a console, with no marketing budget to outsell everything except Halo, is a quite large accomplishment.

Anyway, din't Swen already said that they don't wanna to become a FR studio?

I'd be curious to know just how well it runs on xCloud, though. You say "perfectly" but are we talking about, really, "barely" here? Like 30fps or something like that?

30 fps is fine enough for Starfield. It's not a Fast FPS.
