It's not a matter of what I'm looking at. In a video game, the protagonist is the player's avatar. You view the world through the protagonist's eyes. So, I'd rather take the role of Ryu or Dante than the literal bisexual dyke. That's not to say that you're necessarily a troon or something if you play a game with a female MC, but an ugly bitch who tries to act dominant and cool like Bayonetta really can't be enjoyed by any respectable man. I would honestly feel less ashamed of myself playing a Rance game than a Bayonetta game, because at least Rance is putting bitches in their place. By the way, about the height comments? I'm literally 6'5 and I would fucking MOG you if we ever met.
There is a huge gap in how Bayonetta and Dante/Ryu/Kratos/pretty much any male protagonist achieve their level of "cool". The males are the coolest dudes in a room full of cool dudes while Bayonetta is just the least cringy women in a room full of utter cringelords. Luca is a prime example of this as in every scene he is in two things happen:
A. He somehow gets to be a step ahead of Bayonetta(who is basically following secret underground shortcuts and fast travels through heaven and limbo)
B. He makes an ass of himself in the silliest way possible
Same goes for pretty much every male cast member including the final boss and the angels(who are actually secretly disgusting flesh blobs under all the armor). Jeanne is the lone exception but that is pretty much only because she is just bayonetta with grey hair. Bayonetta is not really owning anyone by being so much better then them but by virtue of being the least fucked up. To put this into context imagine if Dante was built up as a cool dude via Vergil randomly stuttering or slipping on wet floors. Or if Ryu was built up through his enemies farting at inopportune moments.
Its lazy characterization 101 that just slipped under the radar thanks to all the simping Bayonetta enjoys as a woman(imagine 30+ minute long videos in 2009 simping for her and you get the idea).
