So you'd rather look at a pretty boy?

Curious.

TBH, some of us prefer the series' superior protagonist.

So a stronk wahmyn with the platonic ideal of a Karen haircut and a toilet seat as a collar?

I'm pretty sure if Bayonetta 2 was available on PC and Bayonetta 3 launched on PC then many of you would not hate it so much given that Bayo 1 is the only multiplatform one. Most of you are just angry because Bayonetta 2 and 3 are Switch exclusive. Pity that they aren't available on PC. But then just get a Switch like the rest of us who enjoy incline(minus the other shit that's available on Switch because there is a shit ton of pure shit on Switch. Just open the eShop and you're overwhelmed by shit). Are you afraid of someone on codex calling you a fag because you have a Switch? Most likely that is the case. But get one and enjoy Bayonetta 2 and 3 when it releases.

No, tendies can keep her. I hear that Bayo 2 is worse than the first one anyway.
It's really not. Why not give it a shot? Emulation of the game is perfect with CEMU.

It's not a matter of what I'm looking at. In a video game, the protagonist is the player's avatar. You view the world through the protagonist's eyes. So, I'd rather take the role of Ryu or Dante than the literal bisexual dyke. That's not to say that you're necessarily a troon or something if you play a game with a female MC, but an ugly bitch who tries to act dominant and cool like Bayonetta really can't be enjoyed by any respectable man. I would honestly feel less ashamed of myself playing a Rance game than a Bayonetta game, because at least Rance is putting bitches in their place. By the way, about the height comments? I'm literally 6'5 and I would fucking MOG you if we ever met.
There is a huge gap in how Bayonetta and Dante/Ryu/Kratos/pretty much any male protagonist achieve their level of "cool". The males are the coolest dudes in a room full of cool dudes while Bayonetta is just the least cringy women in a room full of utter cringelords. Luca is a prime example of this as in every scene he is in two things happen:
A. He somehow gets to be a step ahead of Bayonetta(who is basically following secret underground shortcuts and fast travels through heaven and limbo)
B. He makes an ass of himself in the silliest way possible

Same goes for pretty much every male cast member including the final boss and the angels(who are actually secretly disgusting flesh blobs under all the armor). Jeanne is the lone exception but that is pretty much only because she is just bayonetta with grey hair. Bayonetta is not really owning anyone by being so much better then them but by virtue of being the least fucked up. To put this into context imagine if Dante was built up as a cool dude via Vergil randomly stuttering or slipping on wet floors. Or if Ryu was built up through his enemies farting at inopportune moments.

Its lazy characterization 101 that just slipped under the radar thanks to all the simping Bayonetta enjoys as a woman(imagine 30+ minute long videos in 2009 simping for her and you get the idea).

Doubtful that Bayo 3 will be officially released for PC since Nintendo is the one who is bankrolling the development for this game, same as they paid off Sega and Platinum just to get Bayo 2 made for the WiiU.
Which might be a blessing in disguise considering how franchises and their fanbases degrade after all barriers to entry have been removed. For reference check the Dark Souls community or WoW.

Bayo 2 is way better. Overwhelming majority claiming otherwise were just coping because it was on a Nintendo console.
So much better I forgot everything that happened in it (minus the mech) but I remember everything in the first one. Btw not trying to be a dick or talk shit I literally do not remember playing the game minus killing a few demons. It felt shorter and less memorable.

I will never understand how Bayo 1 can be multiplatform but 2 and 3 not.
Nintendo paid for Bayonetta 2 & 3's development entirely out of their own pockets. SEGA owns the IP but they have nothing to do with the game anymore apart from reaping royalties. For all intents and purposes you can consider Bayonetta 2 & 3 to be first party Nintendo titles.

Imagine enjoying playing as some empowered annoying middle aged woman that looks like a government bureaucrat in the tax office or SJW cat lady.

At that point I don´t care about game mechanics.

Might wanna reconsider that since the combat is fun as fuck.

Holy crap just finished Bayo 1 and I've been missing out. What a game, fantastic combat system.

Now play Bayo2, combat is even better.
I did not like it. Maybe I played it at a bad time in my life, but I feel like this series is a little too weeb for me to truly get into. I loved Bayonetta 1 but the music practically killed my ears and the way the story played out was awful. I got over that because the presentation and combat was superb. 2 left no impression on me at all besides her having short hair and getting a mech. Either way if I do end up shelling out for a Switch (for Zelda and Live a Live mostly) I will be buying Bayonetta 3 just to have something to play on the system that is not Kirby, Yoshi, or Metroid.

Make the Codex Great Again! Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. I helped put crap in Monomyth

I fckn love action games, but this franchise is always meh! I don't think Kamiya makes many good games, after all the hype about Okami when I finally played it was boring as fck. Just like fckn Bayonetta, also she is damn unappealing.
I would any day play a solo Trish or Lady game over Bayonetta. I have more fun running the endlessly bland halls of DMC4 than in any Bayonetta games.
MGRR is the best platinum game. God Hand is the best Clover game. Rest everything is mediocre.

Agreed. Especially her characterization in the first game is hard swing and a miss. They obviously wanted her to be a confident sexy mature woman but they ended up producing a 40 year old math teacher trying too hard to be sexy. She is extremely dismissive of everyone around her to a point where instead of explaining to Luca his father was killed by the angels she leads him around by the nose until he accidentally figures it out. The man could have died several times over what was effectively just a misunderstanding and bayonetta could have lost a ally simply because she is just such a "tease". It also does not help that over half her moves look like strip dancing with naked finishers to boot. Also technically she spends the whole game naked as her "clothes" are just her hair warped very tightly around her body.

And this is not just my opinion in the second game they seriously course corrected and basically de-aged her by a good 10 years and cut down her attitude by a significant margin. Although she still does maintain a idiotically condescending attitude that hurts her more than it helps.

Dante had moments like this too, like that scene with the Cerberus in 3. It was fucking embarrassing.

God hand was the one that got this "silly cool" schtick right. Gene was a clown, but so was everyone else. Not bumbling retards, but competent people with silly extreme personalities. Tjough what works for a male mc won't always work for a female one, I don't see any better way to make bayo cool.

I fully admit I prefer the "serious cool" of Ryu and Kratos to this, but you can't pull that off with a femoid, unless it's a much subtler game like metroid.

Dude I will never understand Japan's fascination with arrogant cunts like her. You see this in a lot of anime too. A nation in desperate need of domestic violence.

Eh, I mean yeah but that is more the exception than the rule and Cerberus still does not come out of the exchange looking like a complete joke.

Yet, from what I head japan has incredibly lax laws concerning domestic violence to a point where if there is no blood there is no police.
