the forum looks fine now I don't even know what people are kvetching about anymore, only issues I see are ones involving missing features

I mean for display. Not sure which is better. But tagging currently uses the @, e.g.: @Twiglard ... ?

The rationale behind making it bold (rather than treating as any other kind of link) is that this way the user receiving an alert can look quickly for that username. It gets difficult if the post contains links on its own.
What if ruining the joke is the joke?If the @ is displayed, I guess it would ruin the joke for @You .

Is it? I don't see page numbers?
Done.Page numbers, or at least, last page number of a thread should be displayed in mobile forum view. So you know how big the threads are. It's surprising how often I know what the last page number of a thread I read was and knowing that X' thousand more pages have been added is useful.
Oh. So they were missing for the thread list too, not just for the thread itself. Is it? I don't see page numbers?
Or am I using the wrong theme?
Well, have to change that now.You have no idea how many people with poor vision have no clue that they can easily zoom in on text in browsers.
That would be better, then you can see what's a real link and what's a link to a user. GitHub has the '@' too, so I'm quite used to it personally (and miss it when it's not there).Should there be a "@" included before tagged usernames, Shitter-style? Right now it'sUser
, it can be@User
.
This... actually has merit.CAN NO LONGER RAPIDLY DEPLOY RATINGS BY JUST CLICKING ON THE ALREADY GIVEN ONES, IT'S A DISASTER.
I can't reproduce it by adjusting page width. See:mobile version needs intra-thread page navigation at the top of threads as well as bottom. Right now it’s just at the bottom.
edit: to be more specific, it’s the narrow mobile version. When in landscape mode the mobile version has page navigation on top as well bottom of threads.

).What do I click to test out giving the same rating? Clicking on the rating icon below the post brings up the rating list popup.I think either the link should be removed from the counter leaving it just a number, or two buttons could have a different function, i.e. clicking on the rating could would have you add your own to the post, and clicking on the counter could lead to who else gave the post that rating, just as it does now.
Done. The format of page navigation at the top of threads isn't great though, and I think you can collapse the row with page navigation and the row with "jump to new / unwatch" down to a single row. Right now those two rows take up a lot of space.
