you can smoke and have a drink in your apartment now, with actual animations not just clicking menu
In the same apartment you literally have no reason to ever visit?

I have to wonder what CDPR has been doing all these months.

well they added some half ass buffs if you sleep, shower, play guiter, there is some timed stats increase or increased experience gain..

I hate the marketing trailers of this game "Nightcity love it or burn it blah, blah..." fuckers, you made a game where at best your character will live a few months and the story is more about Johnny than yourself, there is fuck all to love or burn because your character can do fucking nothing that isnt chasing a way to survive. Stop selling a freedom that your story doesnt support.

What's really amazing is the complete lack of self-awareness over at CDPR.

This patch, that they have been hyping up almost since the game launched, was supposed to be the Big Thing, it should have introduced substantial improvements to the game and fixed broken systems - instead all we got was a bunch of shit modders had already done months ago, retarded animations (that were likely cut content just laying around) and "bug fixes" that are mysteriously not included in the patch notes, but trust us guys we worked really hard on this.

If I had spent money on the game I'd actually be mad.

For real, I was expecting this to be a big old pile of nothing of value, and it was somehow less than nothing of value.

Dunno man, I expected this to be Deus Ex: Mankind Divided with open world and cars. That is pretty much what I got, good enough for one 63,8 hours long playthrough. I might play it again if some DLCs/fixes come out with new meaningful content, but even if that wouldnt happen I am OK with my decision to buy on release.

In general I would say that the biggest problem this game has is the massive hype the marketing people managed to create around this. Turns out that product still matters a bit more and once you over-promise and under-deliver (at least in the mind of general public), it is really hard to come back from that.

I guess the only substantial thing about this entire patch is fixer standing status. They said they introduced unique awards for completing quest chains for each fixer.

Every few months I pop into this thread, read a little, ask a bunch of questions that roughly amount to 'is it good yet?' and leave disappointed.

I also expected an open world Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, however, here in Brazil, we say that when you get a shody pirated version of a product, we say we got a "paraguaian version" in honor to our neighbour Paraguay that basically became a poor unnoficial annex of Brazil after getting bitchslapped and having its entire male population exterminated while trying to invade us and now is the main chinese pirated products exporter to Brazil and a nice pet.

So, Cyberbug is basically a paraguaian version of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. CDPR cant make a game with good gameplay even at gun point.

TLDW:

Gameplay Features:
- "lots of bugfixes"
- updated combat AI
- extended ambient AI for decor NPCs and traffic: fleeing, shooting back (even from cars)
- reworked vehicle physics model
- improved FOV/height of FPP driving
- fixes to memory culling/despawning NPCs outside of frustrum (yes, please!)
- Fixer Gigs now linked to progressing standing
- rebalanced economy, bigger rewards, reduced prices
- reworked perks system
- added Reject button for calls

"Free DLCs" added:
- new weapons and mods
- mirror allows appearence changes, more character cosmetics
- new apartments for sale, new designs for renovation, added buffs from apartment activities to make it less useless (spoiler: it won't)
- more romance interactions (Codex GOTY right here)
- new Photomode poses, including Silverhand specific ones

PC-specific:
- added a Walk keybind (incline!)
- added graphics benchmarks
- AMD DLSS-equivalent support with ray tracing (I think?)

Console-specific:
- PS5 next-gen edition is a separate download, needs (single) save migration
- consoles choose between 60 FPS or ray-traced shadows with 30 FPS (heh?)
- 5-hour demo trial available (getting a wee bit desperate, chaps?)

Missing in Action:
- WHERE IS MY FUCKING F REBIND YOU FUCKS?!!??!
- no auto-toggle for minimap driving/on foot
- no New Game+
- no word on further police improvements
- no flashlight
- no cruise control
- car AI still can't change lanes to go around obstacles (saw it when they spawned their ride in the middle of the road)
- nothing explicit about further performance optimisations

Overall, a couple of twists, but much what I expected. I think the biggest surprise was that they added the ability to reject calls and how they linked Gig distribution to Fixer progression. Full Patch Notes below, haven't read 'em yet:

P.S. I'm not your choom, buddy.

P.P.S.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided with open world and cars. That is pretty much what I got

I like the fixer gigs to progression change (is that general progression or Street Cred?) - but that's just one of many things they'd have to change to make it more of an RPG.

every time I enter this thread, I congratulate myself for having the backbone to not touch this game while I laugh at you peasants and at your weakness for falling for the hype.

in 5 years when Cyberpunk will be the creature it was meant to be, I will have the gameplay experience of a lifetime! :)

One can play a game without paying for it, you know.

Man, it is already 2 years after release, if you add more 5 years so the game can be what CDPR meant to be, at that point Star Citizen will have a serious competitor in there.

Sadly it will never be that since too much stuff would have to be reworked from the ground up. Besides some QoL improvements and a few token additions, there's not much to look forward to in terms of the base game. Expansions will probably be worth it though from a storyfag angle, but that's about it.

I year and 3 months surely?

The new crowd interactivity is nice (I'm moving through the vid atm), but I wonder whether it'll just get annoying if the city turns to mayhem every time you pull a gun out.
