It has so much C&C, you only need 1 save for all the endings. And the game even tells you when to save.Cyberpunk has C&C? That's like saying going to the DMV has C&C

You can miss the whole content of Phantom Liberty simply by driving away. Boom, president of NUSA dead because you refused to engage. yeah and you can miss Ocarina of Time by never leaving Kokiri Forest, and?You can miss the whole content of Phantom Liberty simply by driving away. No revisionism here, you cann go back and check my initial mini-review on release here (I think) and my prediction, which turned out correct. From "literally unplayable"
to "it was always 6/10 at launch"
to "bro I promise it is good you just need 214 mods"
to "it's on the level of Deus Ex".
Holy shit, you revisionists really are retarded.
Being warned about points of no return is a good thingAnd the game even tells you when to save.
No, in this case the game just pauses and the warning message appears, you confirm and the game unpauses. It a simple text message "out-of-universe".but not through 4th wall breaking methods.
Or when you get stuck in an end dungeon, realizing you lost your chance to rest and resupply and are basically screwed now.Even then, most people would rather be warned that there's no coming back, than looking up the alternate endings after and finding out their last separate save before reaching the hidden branching point was hours ago.
Why are you posting in a console game thread then?Doesn't ring a bell, I don't play console games.yeah and you can miss Ocarina of Time by never leaving Kokiri Forest, and?You can miss the whole content of Phantom Liberty simply by driving away. I enjoyed most of the main story arcs, except Judy's arc other than the VDB quest. I dread playing through that garbage every playthrough. I really enjoyed Phantom Liberty, except that one mission... nvr5get... You literally only needed to incapacitate them for 30m-1h TOPS. What you can't fucking trap them in a bootleg BD or something? The technology clearly exists and they clearly have access to it.I liked this game, and I enjoyed the ending vignettes. Of course I reloaded my save to watch them all, cause no way in hell was I going to replay the whole game to try a new ending.
I thought I would be done then, but I restarted with a new character and found the game was still quite fun - until I was forced to participate in the main story. At that point I quit.
Driving around doing side missions is entertaining though. It's a shame there's no sandbox mode with the story deactivated.
Possibly a mod, but a sort of fix for this (it helps anyway) is that Phantom Liberty lets you skip chapter one which is where the worst of the story railroading is and leaves the city opened up so you can basically hop around and do whatever.I liked this game, and I enjoyed the ending vignettes. yeah the game would be much better if it were like GTA: Online instead of scripted interracial sex scenes. god only knows how bad the spaghetti code is that they can't even get a co-op cyberpsycho hunt workingPossibly a mod, but a sort of fix for this (it helps anyway) is that Phantom Liberty lets you skip chapter one which is where the worst of the story railroading is and leaves the city opened up so you can basically hop around and do whatever.I liked this game, and I enjoyed the ending vignettes. Last version I installed was 2.1 and you still couldn't rebind F. The game shipped with a non-configurable keybind for the main interaction, they eventually fixed it in patch 1.5, I think, and then they rolled that back with 2.0. It's fucking Laurel and Hardy over there.Just a quick reminder that years after the release and countless patches the default button to fast forward dialogues is the same button as crouch so every time you press it to skip dialogues your character starts crouching. Let that sink in.
To be fair if I was talking to someone and they suddenly started crouching I would want to end the conversation as well.Just a quick reminder that years after the release and countless patches the default button to fast forward dialogues is the same button as crouch so every time you press it to skip dialogues your character starts crouching. Let that sink in. Not that it matters anyway 9 out 10 dialogue responses don't affect anything anyway.
you're just now finding out that people spammed shit takes here? i had to curate my ignore list heavily for the thread to even be readable.codextards 4 years ago said that this gayme will be forgotten in a month
Funny, I come to most threads for the idiots and their shit takes.you're just now finding out that people spammed shit takes here? i had to curate my ignore list heavily for the thread to even be readable.

2077 will be remembered like Halo 2, a clearly unfinished disaster that is probably still the only good video game ever madeWhy the fuck can AAA developers not get keybinding right
I am genuinely baffled
For a lot of people with fucked up hands or motor skills rebindable keys solved a massive chunk of their issue, but for a lot of devs it is of no priority and as such is never implemented. Why the fuck can AAA developers not get keybinding right
