I think I've always known that, really, the reason
#Extroverts tend to be bad people is due to their similarity to sociopaths & the love affair they have with them (as I pointed out vampires, romanticised parasites). So they see actual monsters as godlike beings to aspire to.
This is why whenever an extreevurt has referred to something as a monster, I've wanted to go in for a second look.
#Wolves? Nah, doofy tail-waggy dogs who're just more wild than the domestic ones. So an
#Introvert #Werewolf would just be a dedicated, loving, loyal protector.
That's how it goes for everything, really. The extreevurts love slaying
#Dragons, call 'em monsters to justify it? Generally, with dragons, all I see is them mostly minding their own business, ruminating in their caves, and getting pissy when extreevurts steal their stuff.
If you've ever read the original, pre-edited version of
#TheHobbit, you'll know what I mean. Generally, though, it's given me this weird perspective. And as I'm not an extreevurt, I'm not so familiarity-obsessed in the first place. So not so obsessed with humans, then.
How to spot an extreevurt in a video game? Do they pick the prettiest, human-like character? There's your extreevurt. My partner would pick the cow lady; I'd choose the werewolf. It's fascinating, really, just how everything sort of clicks together. It's like a perfect jigsaw.
Extreevurts fetishise sociopathic monsters as godbeings, thus what is most like the sociopath is most perfect to them. That's why the further you move away from "sociopathic perfection," the less comfortable extreevurts are. Funny that they hate non-human races in video games.
I mean, look at
#ChrisAvellone. He's a dick. Also VERY likely a sociopath, or at least an extreevurt. He killed all the talking deathclaws off in
#Fallout. Why? They weren't human. Didn't match up to the godly sociopathic standard.
And all this has had a weird effect on me.
