Chris confirms he still hasn't read Revan

Hi! What do you think of Karphysyn's novel "Revan"? I suppose you read it, since it is a continuation of KotOR 2 and it includes Exile's fate. To me, It was incredibly disappointing, I really can't think of a worse closure to the story. What's your take on it?
I have not read it (that's not a slam, I just don't usually have much time to read as I used to).

Weak diplomatic excuse given that it was released over ten years ago. If it was something he was truly interested in, he would have read it by now.

fyi there's a tweet from Avellone about Revan that lines up with what happens in a SWTOR xpac(and two other major ones roughly follow other things he's said,) seemed like they might have based them on his notes or something.

For some reason the original tweet seems to be missing, but the following replies still exist?

I mean why read trash anyway, its like the Baldurs Gate novel all over again, when the game does a better job telling a story than the book does.

That was a novelization written by some guy who wasn't involved with the games. Revan is a sequel written by the lead writer of the first Knights of the Republic and the MMO established it as canon.

What a weird aftermath that would have been for Old World Blues (the hexagons spilling over to Goodsprings). I can see the point. But still weird.
