Star Wars related? Perhaps retained some sort of control over characters he created and are being reused for the kotor remake?

I guess there's a lot of things you could infer or interpret from this.
Unfair termination clause requiring them to remove his work perhaps? Would explain his insistence that he has nothing to do with it.

From the tweets (stop making me go on twitter, people who use twitter) it seems like Techland is still crediting him for stuff in Dying Light 2, despite having removed all traces of his work.

So he wants the actual writers getting credit, not him. That's what he's saying publicly at least.
Are they actually crediting him anywhere though?

If he's having a quibble with the CEO over contracts and "giving credit where credit is due" it seems related.

Or it's something completely different, dunno.

Chris said somewhere that when he played Morrowind, he spent hours collecting all the plates, spoons, knives, etc. in the Census and Excise building (the very beginning of the game).
I did that too. That's a legitimate strategy to rise as much money as possible early on.
cutlery worth nothing. Limeware platter is the only thing worth taking.

Even if just aiming for high value stuff, you still want the Brief History of the Empire, key to the warehouse, and some silver. BTW, the manual (At least GotY edition) has a screenshot that shows the exploit was known to devs.

Pathfinder Wrath of Rightous has so many childish or generic writing moments, its a heaven and hell in comparison to Planescape Torment mature setting and atmosphere and deep characters. What happened? Seems only Disco Elysium and PST devs know how to write?
I do not know, I didn't get the chance to write or review any Owlcat scripts like I did with the first game (but even then, I was only able to write and revise some of them).

It doesn't matter for the quality of the game. The first game's writing wasn't anything to write home about either, despite his supposed involvement. When he's not writing, but editing, the effect is lost. He's very respectful of everyone's style, so even if it's all shit, he won't do anything to fix it.

He edited the first game, and its writing was way more concise and to the point.
He didn't edit Wotr, and it's full of badly edited PoE-style purple prose.

Always excuses. Which is fine, but what it means is MCA's involvement doesn't mean quality. Unless he's writing at least 50% of the game, any small involvement of his is like a spoonful of mead in a barrel of shit.

Already played it, it's pretty bad all around, don't recommend it.
The journals/pages you find around are well written though, yes. The overall lore/background of the island itself is interesting, but nowhere near fleshed out enough in design. Lots of copy+pasting enemies, quests, entire towns, etc.,

What could this be?

Wouldn't put it past HR to look at every metric but competence at the job.

It's not that you can create a writing quality scale and rate one guy 9.1 out of 10 and the other 7.6. I am not that surprised that HR people try to go for the low hanging fruit, especially that if you hire someone with connections, it can help you in your own career.
