It does. And if you want my advice get butcher as a second trade. Don't sell bear meat, make a bunch of stew from it with butchers recepy. I once made 30 bowls of stew + 150 to permanent health.

I also took alchemy as my second trade to get access to some good stuff.

I've mutated into some potato gothic witcher abomination in CH5 with all the stat gain. I can even dig myself into the ground like a zerg during annoying dialogues

Not related to this NPC in particular, but there are some weird things about female characters in general. I was looking for a code for Petra and she's referenced as "none_6252_fredrik". Some other characters are also referenced with different, male names: Frida (Boris), Helga (Olaf) and Luna (Lexx) were the ones I found, so I guess their gender got changed somewhere in development. There are also some unused variables that I think suggest Marvin could bang Rahela from the brothel, which is quite different from him being white knight for some unknown hooker.

Entire island is flooded with refugees doing nothing useful and attacking people. Saw a woman getting beatings from 3 refugees, they gave her a black eye lol. I enjoy all the extra xp i get from them and people don't seem to mind if you dust a bunch of refugees

There is random encounter in the city with refugee womban asking for 10 gold if you give it to her next time she will bring two shitskin and they will ask for 30 gold I didnt give them anything but fucking beggars started following me around the city and finally that bitch brought 5 beggars with her and they tried to mug me

I love the homeless fucks that want a gold piece every time i go next to them. I always gave them on the first time,when they asked a second time i send them to go fuck themself,when they asked me a third time beat the shit out of them with a nice mace. The game is very based when it comes down to rapefugees,but very cucked when it comes to saving prostitutes lol.

You even get a final perma potion from the alchemist in chapter 5 which gives +10 to a stat (it was strength for me, dunno if it gives dex if you're doing a dex char).

I've got 80 base strength and 235 boosted strength in Chapter 5 at level 45. Feels like I've barely put any LP into strength directly.

Makes me wonder if it's possible to get both str and dex high enough to equip the dex weapons but still get the massive str boost to damage. Not that it really matters, I've got a 1h strength sword that currently does 190 damage and maxed 1h skill, so 420 damage on every attack. One of the dex weapons with higher base damage would just be overkill at this point.

It gave me +25 mana. I think its effect is based on the total amount and type of permapotions you've consumed up to that point.

Anyway, I've found "open lock" rune and decided to free citizens of Archolos of their possessions. The fire mages have a blueprint for an extremely strong one handed sword in their querters.

You can get 2 king sorrels or amulet as a reward (but who the fuck would want shitty amulet lol) if you find this subhuman and do a short unmarked quest.

AFAIK you cannot save Darryl no matter what. If at the beginning you go with Fabio you can save Maiwen, if you go with Jorn they both die.

You can play comfortably with keyboard only, that's how I always played it. You could probably map it to controller quite well, the only problem I see would be spells. I even remember hearing that the controls in the first game were so weird and didn't use mouse at all, since they planned to release the game on consoles, but I cannot find the source for that.

The map button always opens the last map you used. So either use one map or get used to "setting" the correct one before you leave the city/world areas.

In all honesty once you've been round the city a few times you memorise the layout anyway.

The music in this game is fantastic, with 1 notable exception: The daytime town music that plays in most of the districts ("duuun... duuun... duuun.. DU-DU-DU-DUUUN!!!"). Feels like that jarring opening is constantly being spammed at me. Going to see if I can find a way to disable or replace that track.
