Some jank: when I'm out and about 'M' pulls up the city map, and when in the city the world map. Any way to address?

Ahhhh nigga just go in the inventory and select the map you want to open with m,m opens the last map you had looked at,not the map that will be most useful to you.

Soooo guys did you noticed that sleep spell is either bugged or useless. A few times i tried to put some people to sleep and they didn't. Also is there a rune for sleep ?

Another cool detail, as a Guard your superiors after ending the dialogue would say "March off" or something like that in english, after our promotion when we end the dialogue with recruits and normal guards its Marvin who says "March off".

So if you save Timo at the start of the game he gets some uses in chapter 1 and chapter 2 quests but in chapter 5 he joined city guards and when he saw that I became a chad asked me for combat training. Giving him combat lessons gave me +5 learning points and 250 exp pretty nice.

Got the best guard armor too.

There is also a quest for the kings emmisary to put the germoid band in the mining colony

Oh shit i just killed shadowbeast in a random melee fight. It was first time when i did this fairly in melee.

Matey gave me a broom and told me to go sweep the streets to pay for my citizenship. I assumed the dirt mounds, much like in the other two quests involving sweeping, were the target but apparently that's not the case.
Standing on top of them and using the broom does nothing, so what exactly am I supposed to be cleaning then?

Best armor is from armory in Volfzack ruins in 6 chapter after Stone repairs it, but you must take book about smithing from monastery basement, that exactly when I used sleep 2 times on mage guarding the basement library.

Well yeah, it is best armor in the game if you give book to Stone.

My top tier guardsman armor looks so good i don't know if i want to switch it for anything. Knight's armor was a colossal waste of money (12k), but pretty good defence and you can get it in ch4.

Yeah, that's what I'm on. He gave me a broom and told me I'd get 15 gold per spot I sweep, but I can't interact with any of them.

EDIT: Christ, turns out that part of the quest doesn't trigger unless you ask him where to sweep. Didn't bother with that option because I already knew where.

You're probably not using the broom correctly. Remember, Gothic has weird controls. You have to tab over to the broom in your inventory, hold the "use" button to take it in your hands, then press "forward" to begin the sweeping animation.

Nah, that wasn't the issue. You need to ask him where to sweep after he gives you a broom and tells you to, else the quest won't trigger.

You have to stand next to the splash,then go in inventory and double click on the broom,maybe even once does the job.

Just finished it, clocked 60 hours in the end. I undoubtedly missed some content as I had some bad ending slides about one or two unfamiliar quests, but felt as though I did most side quests.

Very dramatic finale, and I wasn't expecting Fallout style ending slides at the end. Overall this was a great game (I can't justify calling it a mod), and I suspect it'll join the ranks of my frequent Gothic replays.

It honestly feels like I've somehow reached into an alternate universe and pulled out some Gothic spinoff that PB made in the early 2000s.

I'm actually already itching to replay it, but I'll force myself to wait so I enjoy the inevitable city guard playthrough more in the future.

We all just have to focus all our spirit energy onto Polish Goku so that History of Khorinis, Sailors of the Storm, and Golden Gate 2 all come out and are just as good as this was.

It's always been one of the best feelings of power and progression in a Gothic game when an enemy used to effortlessly dominate you, then you come back a few levels later and bully it right back.
