I wish UI was a bit more obvious about things that matter like this, like AP costs having larger fonts n stuff
torso shots have inbuilt +accuracyor do they
Well, because he is (and his legs especially), you know, behind the crate
Menu typeface is
In the textbox.
Cover bonus is double for legs and arms shots.
Nay, the one on the in-game menus, audiowide pro. Jeez, what an unsightly mess.Which one? Main menu?
Can't crouch when there's an axe murderer next to you. Good way to deal with enemies in cover when you have a melee buddy. The question - when char is in cover behind the crate, he is crouching, when he attacked in melee he stands up but when melee attacks end he didn't crouch again and next enemy shooting at him standing tall - is it just animation or he doesn't get cover bonus like that?
Correct. Also - it seems you can't take Heroic feats later in game - only at character creation right?
The what now?First thoughts on an aesthetic level.
Firstly, the female hair options are way too modern for the inspirations the game claims.
The game is set in the distant future where folks have datajacks on the side of their heads, so both ultra modern and shaved sides fit right in. Having said that, this particular hair model is god fucking awful, it was an early test piece, which was included in the demo only because we had very few hair models. Our artist is working on them but it would probably take 3-4 weeks to get all the hair styles and beards in.The first/default hair being the ultra modern side of the head shaved is offputting.

Classic sci-fi of the 50s-60s just doesn't jive with a hairstyle that's, at the earliest, 90s counter-culture (which even then is doubtful as an origin) and only really took off in media as "normal" couple years ago (where it reeks of a very particular current culture). I'm not saying there should be Fallout esqe culture refusing to advance in hair, but something so easily dated to a particular half decade is odd.Colony Ship is an isometric, party-based RPG inspired by Heinlein’s Orphans of the Sky
the only weapon so far I liked is Colt. This is an extremely surface level nit pick but I was surprised by how puny the bulldog sounded compared to the rounder
I'd agree with that but 'inspired' (by 50s-60s sci-fi) doesn't mean 'exactly like'.Classic sci-fi of the 50s-60s just doesn't jive with a hairstyle...
Well, shaved sides have been a thing (for men) on and off for a very long time so the concept itself isn't new or limited to the 90s, but women shaving one side of their head is certainly new. However, now that it's a thing, do you expect it to disappear in a few years and never to be heard from again? I doubt it. Plus, like I said, when you have a reason to keep one side of your head shaved (implants), shaved sides will definitely be back in fashion.... that's, at the earliest, 90s counter-culture (which even then is doubtful as an origin) and only really took off in media as "normal" couple years ago (where it reeks of a very particular current culture). I don't think people would be lining up to work for you after two 'paralegals' ended up dead. Keep using them fuckers up, eh?The guy with the two public defenders keeps killing me. The one with the sword just charges in and 1-turns my melee guy (the replacement for Billy, who died in his first fight). My main character goes down shortly after that.
Is it possible to get more teammates?

Send me your save (or upload it somewhere) and I will take a look first thing tomorrow. info@irontowerstudio.com
I know. Just want to help, that's all.The save? I'm not saying there was a bug or anything, I'm just complaining that the battle is difficult.
Depends on the build (i.e. on what your character can do), that's why I asked for the save. Is your main character a fighter or a lover? Melee or ranged? Which weapons? It's a hard fight but doable. I'd position your character behind the cover, activate shield if he's a ranger, let the melee party member play assist rather than face the defender all on his own. Since the defender has a distortion field that makes him hard to hit, fall back, wait until it wears of. Use a flashbang to lower his THC.General observation; if someone has a good strategy for defeating the guy and his defenders please let me know.
You get Billy, if he dies - Mason, then Halston, then Vasquez if you accept his offer. If they all die, you're on your own.I'm a little unclear on how recruiting works. I got Billy from the Chief Judge, and then when he died in the subsequent battle I go the hammer man. Would I have gotten the hammer man anyway (bringing my team total to 3 including myself)? If that's the case I would try hard to keep him alive. I want to get a dream team of 4 people so I can just dunk on every idiot the Chief Judge sends against me.

Where do you buy ammo? The guy selling weapons and armor doesn't seem to have any.

General observation; if someone has a good strategy for defeating the guy and his defenders please let me know. Also, combat tips in general for the rifle, I find it is a difficult weapon to use (although I guess it consistently hits at range for decent damage if you can keep people at a long distance). So far shotgun and melee seems powerful.
