just wait a few months and play it then. there is a lot of new stuff in the final rel as well.

I made a pure gunslinger but the ammo so far seems pretty rare and the gunshots trigger zombies like crazy.

It's rare enough that it's not very viable to pop every zombie you meet, but the common types seem plentiful enough that you'll have it for the humans (Which is where you really want it). Sorta like bulletproof vests aren't very good against zombies, but you'll be glad you have them against the humans. My shootydude got blasted with a shotgun and knocked on his ass but took negligible damage, got back up, and popped a coyote with his rifle. The coyotes wearing riding leathers and football gear, both of which are great against zombies and pretty much shit against a rifle and a pistol.

That's one thing I'm digging about the game actually. Been playing it more than I did Wasteland 2 and I actually like the combat quite a bit more than WL2. It shares some of the same issues (No skill-based stealth system, ranged weapons are amazingly short ranged (Although DS is still better than WL2 with that), no elegant way to line up your dudes to kick off combat by all executing orders at once, etc) but it has better strengths. Bullet armor VS zambie armor, more interesting mix of weapons (Sharp/pierce being weaker against zombies, various AP/damage/stat/skill concerns, different attacks with different weapons, has at least one melee weapon with reach, guns aren't as much of "Well you're level 5 now so this is a straight up better gun using the same ammo" as WL2 (Though there is still a little of that. Compare sawed-off shotgun to hunting shotgun to police shotgun (Although since DS doesn't have levels a "High level" character isn't as overpowered compared to a lowbie like WL2))), the noise system which isn't SUPER important but calling in zombies does have an impact. I've had a pretty good time with DS combat, even smashing zombies one by one before they can react is satisfying.

Not really sure how well it'll replay. It's super light on dialog and "NPC C&C" from what I've seen thus far, but it picks up that slack by making NPCs useful to have for building up your base/selecting a party for a mission. Since the world map apart from random events appears static I guess you could have fun trying to do metagaming runs in the future, knowing where the most useful NPCs are/where to get free daedric armor.

Still more excited for AoD than Dead State but I am glad I'm enjoying this more than my short poke at it in early access implied. Really surprised I ended up liking vaporware Dead State more than WL2 but here we are.

How are people showing interactable objects like in SuicideBunny 's screenshot? I don't seem to have that and I don't see anywhere to toggle it on or off. It would be nice if I didn't have to hover over every item to determine if it has loot, especially because the camera angle sometimes doesn't let you see if something is lootable.

it was anita on paradise apartments (GENShoddyApt), and that's also the map that crashed. my last save was a long time ago, and i did some things differently, went there again for the first time, and now i have renee, joel, todd and a hidden priscilla in the party, when i only picked the last two.

scrolling long inventories in character 2 character transfer fucks up last item in the scrolling inventory:

there also seem to be some region detection issues with dragging items between containers and inv. the drag only succeeds if you drag the item into one of the thirst three columns or some area before them of the respective pane, which looks like a scaling issue (playing in lower res in a window). also data items cannot be moved by dragging, not sure if intentional.

you can open the car trunk outside of the shelter tiles when traveling by horse.. if it's supposed to be horse saddles, then just rename the thing to something that would apply to both "Trunk/Saddlebags" or just "vehicle storage"

in RESMansion the tablet on in the living room has two loot icons flowing over it at different heights. not sure if just bugged or there is another lootable below it that gets obstructed by it:

aaaand another crash on that map.
and another crash on another map. both happened when i doubleclicked a door with a lockpick while somewhat away from it.

Game is really fun, last night it was 7 am and i kept telling myself "just one more location", exploring is fun and leading that people is pretty involving. My only complain so far is that a lot of the dialogue options you get are trash, and some of the dialogue is awkward at best. Game looks beautiful, i am honestly surprised because i thought it would look cheap.
What does agility actually do? because i started with a character with 10 points in it and im still getting hit.

Anyway, Gonna keep posting as i play it.

Yes, happens on double click, we are fixing it right now, we'll be uploading a patch soon for that one.

inside the mall (maps don't seem to have names) on the upper level of the base floor, the backdoor to the games store is passable while locked and closed:

weapon store opposite of it also has one of these.
the houseware store next to it has an impassable locked door that cannot be unlocked because it cannot be reached (those other two also can't, but that might be because they are passable)

Fixed in today's update, plus other things:

Fixed charge weapons losing ammo in shelter inventory.
Fixed special music tracks getting overwritten by default music.
Greatly improved out-of-combat pathfinding performance.
Improved enemy movement towards noise.
Fixed neutral enemy morale penalty triggering multiple times.
Fixed crash related to double-clicking on some doors.
Fixed crash caused by unusual Job Board errors.
Fixed issue where allies not in the Scavenger Party would sometimes load into levels.
Improved neutral NPC warning for campsite area.

Fixed in today's update, plus other things
no fix on the mall doors there, though... but at least i can now doubleclick without fear.
in the upper floor of the hotel above the merc mall there is a footlocker that seems lootable but isn't. displays icon for container, cursor changes accordingly, but clicking on it does nothing, including no error message:

floor above the floor that has a blocked staircase door when you get to it from below has an unreachable laptop and a locked but unlockable door. it's the floor where mercs aren't clustered in one group and there are two standing stupidly around some sort of lobby with potted tree and two tables:

floor above it (or so, i've lost track of where i am... the floor with the bridge sharpshooter in front of a camp stove), door doesn't unblock upon opening:

helipad: helicopter has a speech bubble but no dialogue triggers (had karen with me by a stroke of luck, who can fly one, still nothing)

also, when changing hotel floors, the rest of my party disappeared from portraits and inv/char screens, and cannot be traded with (but they still follow), which makes them impossible to select (they were normal the first few floors, then gone, then appeared again on the helipad, then gone when i went down, including the exit map).
