No jumping, no graphics overhaul, same textures as on mobile platforms. Straight port.
Mouse sensitivity is too high for me even on the lowest setting.

So far the only good thing about it is new music.

And I kinda like new main character appearance. I prefer his proper mercenary/soldier style to hipsterish one of Adam Jensen.

Oh man, this game...

I mean if Deus Ex is your abusive husband and you love him despite the pain then it's probably worth $10. The experience is there, the mood and music and such. I'm all like "I'm in Deus Ex Moscow sneaking behind dudes!" and that makes me happy.

THAT SAID... it's a straight mobile port, as said above. The two things that stand out most to me as a negative here are no jumping and enemy bodies vanishing after you take them out. Other more minor things like a huge HUD and the item store not being an actual store in the game world but a menu are also annoying, but less serious. The voice acting also seems pretty bad, even for the main characters, though the super soldier dudes from Human Revolution seem to have the same decent actors. Gameplay is straight-up Human Revolution with a couple corners cut. Mouse aim is surprisingly good, that was biggest worry with it being a mobile port but the mouse aim feels fine. So I took cover, I shot dudes in the head with a silenced gun, I snuck up behind them and did my karate-fu, I looked for PDAs and ammo boxes sitting around the environment, I used vents and shit to get around. Honestly it's a surprisingly full-fledged Deus Ex experience despite the mobile drawbacks.

I finished the opening mission and now I'm on a plane flying in a thunderstorm, which seems like another good and moody setting. Good art direction. I should know more after more playtime. Here are a couple random screenshots to show graphical fidelity:

Got to the hub world, played around a bit. It really is a Deus Ex game, which since I never play tablet games I am pretty surprised by, I have to say. Not saying it's a great PC game, the tablet origins are everywhere, but it's totally a Deus Ex game the size and scope of say Invisible War, which is pretty crazy to me.

You can't jump, there is no physics (even ragdolls), so you also can't build pyramids from boxes. I guess it's because smartphones haven't enough RAM. You can't invent any solution.

Who the fuck in real life would stretch their arms out to reload a weapon? Rather look down briefly if you want to show that it's being reloaded.

Holy shit, this game is fucked up.
Missing audio, broken hit detection, lags when you fire a shotgun...
Still better than THIAF, though. At least I had steady 60 fps when I played it (with drops to 30 from time to time).
