I didn’t buy or play D3 due to the belief it didn’t support offline solo play.

Battlenet and shit is nice but sometimes you just want to cozy up to a beer in thine jammys and kill some demons.

Not so! So I said fuck blizzard back then. Shit! I never even played WoW. Only Warcraft I played was the original where it sounded like the orc was constantly saying “DOG POOP!”

That fucker was a digital seer. It knew this would come.

Aren't the same assholes attacking people for hating on mobile games the same people who attacked GoG for using some hashtag?

Apparently they're uploading multiple copies of the video so they can pick and chose their like/dislike ratio. It isn't working.

It's all Drumpf's fault! Stop complaining, you guys!
At least people in the comments call him out on this bullshit.
Yes. It is hilarious. But surprisingly, he hasn't deleted them yet. Matter of time, I'd say. Enjoy it while you can :D

The internet never forgets.

This isn't a product aimed at us. It's basically a licensed Diablo game made by a Chinese mobile developer for the Chinese mobile/tablet gaming market (which is huuuge).

I'm not sure why anyone would expect anything else from Blizzard. they want to make money. Free to play, mobile games, (massively) multiplayer, these are the ways to make hella money today. So that's what they're doing. Just like they're going into the Chinese market because that's where the growth is.

If you want a new Diablo game, play Grim Dawn. Blizzard isn't selling to us any more. We're not worth their time.

What? The only MMOs that make money now are P2W (which is seperate) and MAYBE the FF+DQ MMOs.

I didn't mean all those things together, I meant one or more of those.

And I'd count Fortnite as borderline MM, even if it's a very different model of MM to WOW or Eve etc.

Situations like this are always funny because there's no real standard way to deal with internet outrage like this. What you get are low and mid level marketing employees, who are used to the fans being yes-men that eat everything up, suddenly thrust into a position where the boss will be calling them into the office next morning demanding to know what was fucked up and what they've done to fix it. So these guys panic, they look for something to clamp down on and it becomes just more obviously fucked up thanks to the Streisand effect

Then why the fuck would they announce it at blizzcon? If they knew their core audience wasn't going to be interested in this teasing a new Diablo game only to reveal it's something meant for an entirely different audience was about the stupidest thing they could do.

No, they're just that out of touch with what their customers want.

Finally a game for the gaudaosts of the world.

Look at that disappointment on those faces.

I don't know what is the bigger betrayal, this or the Command and Conquer mobile game.

Probably this, most of the C&C fans already knew the series was dead and buried, they were only insulted by the fact that EA was trying to hype them up over mobile garbage. It's like... Diablo Immortal is watching your still living friend murdered in real time by another guy you thought was your friend, C&C mobile is that fucking undertaker you already hate parading out your grandmother's corpse for the 12th time this year.

I am at least happy to have been around for the early days of Blizzard, playing WC1&2 in college and playing the shit out of the Diablo demo. World of Warcraft, on release, felt like a labor of love by the devs and you certainly felt the influence of Everquest. Then the bean-counters got their hooks into the game, and Activision swooped in to suck out the last vestiges of life from a once mighty company. Felt a little like the journey of Origin :(

We are not their core audience. We're just louder and angrier. Their core audience is overwatch fans, not people who still miss Diablo 1/2.

Diablo's core audience are the Diablo fans.
See: The people asking if this game is a joke at the Q&A and booing the developers.

Who exactly do you think is "We"? Those .25 cent twitter shills are not addressing Codex when they unhinge their jaw to fit a little bit more of Blizzard's cock in their mouths.
