Also it might be uncompressed, since its a developer build basically.
It is unlikely that demo and retail use different asset pipelines. This is a 10 year old Diablo 3 engine after all, not some work in progress.

Having to wait in a queue so random strangers can pollute your 'solo' gaming experience.
Fuck this shit.
You have an option to modify install and uncheck hd textures.Where are you seeing that? I wouldn't mind giving this a try without having to use 85GB of space.
ConsolesI haven't played Diablo since D2 back in the day.
Why is there a queue?
Why is the HUD so huge?
Why is the text and font so basic, like a kids game?
Why is the minimap so huge?
Why is the map already revealed with no fog of war?
Why is the camera so god damn zoomed in?
Why are the graphics so underwhelming?
Why does it feel like a mobile game?
Why is the music so laughably bad?
Why was everyone a girl on the character select screen?
Why is the iconic coin pickup sound so bland?
Is this what people actually like now?
Don't worry, there'll be no queues at release, because no one buys those shitty Blizzard games ...
I've got a 5800X3D and a 3070 with latest drivers, and it's non-stop stutter whenever the game is loading any assets.
Who told you it was? It has more in common with games like World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2 than previous Diablo games as it steers directly into MMO-lite territory. Why do I HAVE to see other players in my single player game?
It's a tell, like having an anime avatar, that the poster in question is irredeemably spastic.I don't get how people are being positive about this game. This is genuinely bad.
Compared to D3 act1 this is way superior. After playing my Necro to Lvl 11, I came to the conclusion that this game is even blander and less fun than D3.
Is this getting any better?
Necro seems very powerful damage wise but I am having fun with shapeshifting Druid even if it is clunky.Necro feels great
Oh those two sound like fun. Also respect for the franchise, y'all. Why do items all take up the same amount of inventory space?
Why are quests "level locked" like it's a grindy mobile game?
