After ~250h here is my review>

If you for whatever reason liked Diablo 3 gameplay, but really wanted shittiest mechanics from shitty MMO genre, close up camera so all your builds are basically melee, low density maps with fun goals like kill all enemies or escort quests, level scaling, non skippable extremely boring cutscenes, shitty itemization with a lot of class specific affixes with low impact, no overlay minimap, mobile game UI, boring paragon board without any real choices and so limited traiding that it might as well be completely removed from the game then this shit game is for you. Almost forgot always online and battle pass bullshit.

Some valid complaints in there but the level scaling is not a problem later on. That is a non issue if you build your character right. I'm destroying mobs and elites that are scaled with me like they are nothing. It's an early game issue but once you get deep into the upgrading and customization the level scaling becomes nothing.

Oh and that text I bolded is just retarded. Were you hitting a crack pipe when you typed that?

Camera is significantly more zoomed in compared to any ARPG i played and i played them all. Horse camera zoom is great and they should just use it all the time.

So you never played a third person ARPG where the camera is practically stuck in the character's asshole? It's just a weird complaint for this kind of game man but whatever. I haven't had issues with visibility or long range combat.

D4 has the better production standard and art direction (not hard to beat PoE in those)

Even art direction is better, some good shit if you take a little time to actually look at enemies/doodads, has a certain honesty/grit to it.

I played PoE for years, it has really shitty enemy design. You are attacked by curtains and chandeliers and monkeys

I really wanted to like this game and give endgame a chance. Not really a complete waste of time its not that bad.

Yeah the more time I spend with this game the more I see a majestic masterpiece in the making. Something destined for true greatness. Reminds me of Conan Exiles, a game that started out rough (much more so than this) and eventually blossomed into something truly special. And just like Conan Exiles this game will never get the respect it deserves around here. But whatever, I will always be around to give them the love they deserve until I die of shitty organ failure.

Ah hell. Game crashed and now there's a wide spread issue of not being able to login. Fuck online required games. I don't see how they lose money by offering an offline mode. Like come on dude.

Online DRM is not there to enhance your player experience. If it were offline, there wouldn't be one copy bought for a hundred copies played.

In PoE you definitely hit all your skills before the halfway point, the "challenge" is getting all your items with the exact number and type of gem slots, which is also the point where I lose all interest in the game. Not to mention the meta all involves spamming one skill endlessly, forever.

In Grim Dawn I just maxed out my LMB attack and facerolled the entire game, at no point experiencing anything close to a challenge. It was a relaxing way to unwind after work, but deep and complex, not so much.

Only special builds get to use 1 or 2 skills unless you are talking campaign only that is easy on purpose.

Builds with less buttons to push are usually 3-4 skills plus 4-5 potions that you spam every 5-6s.
D2 is the game you are thinking about, that was 1 to 3 buttons only plus 1 potion (full rejuvenation)

Watched some gameplay. Looks like Divinity: Original Sin except not good. Aliens: Dark Descent looks alot more interesting, as tactical games go.

I must agree with you on this. I spent 30h playing Wartales before I quit and now spent watching Aliens DD on twitch for 5+ hours and it is overall a better game. I look forward playing it in about 1 month when I reinstall my windows and switch to win 10 from my superior win 7 (fuck you Steam and Microsoft)

Gotta disagree with you here. I couldn't be happier with how my sorceress looks in armor. She's absolutely frabjous.

She also has a very pretty face. I'd like to be able to make some adjustments, specifically to her chin. I'd also like for her to have better tits but otherwise she's a fine goth gal.

And of course I would be crazy not to show off my new mount which I'm super proud of. I named him Spiderbatman Radio Flier.
