- linear talent tree
- no procedurally generated maps
- but...but...its dark..and "gritty"....

Now that this thread reminds me.... is Diablo III worth as a complete time waster bought at the lowest price possible? I mean, merely as something akin to Titan Quest (shut your brain and see stuff die) and the like, or it's actively broken and unfun?

I enjoyed greatly Diablo 1 and 2 for what they were, even if I never "got" the grinding (still prefer Diablo 1, though).

- barbarian has 4 weapon slots
- "more build customization"
- skill tree is back
- d2 runewords but enchanced. Instead of static "secret" runewords runes will have triggers, effects etc to build up runewords (i think this is their take on POE like support system)
- itemization: sets won't be OP anymore, legendaries will be main way of build making, affixes for magic/rare items will include build changing ones not just shit +1 stats

attack/defence stat seems to be only thing bad here but so far so good. If they will deliver what they are saying this should be great arpg.

art style is on fucking point. D2 art returns !

Funny, from day 1 the diablow series were a king of dumbing down RPGs until nothing RPG remains - and yet apparently they managed to outdo themselves and dumb it down even more? My, that's quite an achievement.
