Alright why the hell can enemies spam abilities like black shroud and other Source Point gated abilities while I'm stuck with using one a fucking year, who the fuck was the idiot that made this system. So the enemies can spam high level spells while I suck my thumb waiting to get buttfucked by the 1000/1000 armor trash mobs,so much fucking fun.And how much I love when I get ambushed(quite frequently I may say) and enemies spawn from every corner of the map, fun, fun, fun.

No wonder people try to cheese this retarded fucking game, everything seems to be agaisnt you from the get to go.

I'll never try the hardest difficulties in my entire fucking worthless life:killit:
Use this if too lazy to mess with config files:
https://www.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin2/mods/58/?

It won't solve the source points rarity but will make the fights less painful.

Yeah, in stores and hand-placed. Also, I don't think any weapons scaled like the companions' armors, they scaled depending on when you picked them up, but that's it, they don't progressively scale every level after that. It was so that no matter when you decide to tackle the DLCs you got something out of them. At least I think so, I don't ever remember any weapons scaling like the companions' armors and Varric's crossbow.
Some merchants have scaled items.I am at Arx now and i buy new weapons from some dude every new level.

are there any mods that make this game good yet?
Shhhh, I heard from totally trustworthy sources that a mega mod with a strange name is being made, it is called Enhanced Edition, the modders are just on the beta test phase and recruiting beta testers right now.

Okay, I was fooled this time and I thought Larian couldn't fuck this up as D:OS 1 was a quite decent game, shouldn't jump the gun, will refund, when they fix, IF they fix this broken shit and release the modding tools, then I will waste time with this game.

Speaking of modding tools, did Larian say anything about? By this point, I'm more interested into play with modding than actually play this game.

Yo Shadenuat you have finished the game have you?

Have you accepted the Covenant in the Academy? Any idea what happens?
I remember accepting proposal from Undead Man but then he said "SO U MUST DIE" and I killed him and everyone in that cave guarded by trolls. Then I used Swornbreaker to free myself and don't remember anything else about it.

Alright got in another fight where enemies just spawn out of thin air,is this all this game can do in act 2? Every fight starts with some bulked up trash mobs spawning out of the ground ala Drage Age 2 style,is this what people call great encounters and the best rpg since Jesus Christ role played as a bait for crows
How the hell can you prepare for this kind of shit without reloading every time,it's cheap and bad design 101.

This happens on the Nameless Isle, after you enter the Academy

(after you lose your companions and convince them to join back - or not). The first thing you encounter is a voidwoken offering you a covenant from the God King. I tried that, got a "Sworn" status, lost my Bless spell and gained Curse instead. I wonder if I don't fuck myself up with this.

Is outdamaging them not working? By the way the game is designed, if you don't keep min/maxing damage, the HP bloat will fuck you over.

You can use Scythe to free yourself to get alternative endings. You can craft 1 scythe and there is 1 scythe in act 4.

Proof that democracy doesn't work.

It's proof that you can just cobble together any kind of dumb, absurdly gamey character system and most folks don't care as long as they find the content interesting.
How this makes any sense if the content is combat and combat is shit...ohh... shiny explosions, AAA production values, overproduced spell effects... nevermind.

Experience curve is so fucked up. One level up, in Driftwood, and out of a sudden I get as much exp from a little monsters as I would from hard quest in Fort Joy.
Was this game even designed to be this long?

Yeah this is bitching for the sake of bitching. Mobs and quests granting progressively more XP is pretty much the genre standard.

Larian can't handle the difficulty curve, then again most RPGs I've played since the early 1990s have been a faceroll mid-game on. DOS2 diff curve is not fucked up as completely as in DOS1 vanilla (EE was much improved in this respect) but I've been facerolling the content since about mid-Reaper's Coast.

Half of the game cannot be played the way is intended. Last night I was in Arx and ragequit during a similar fight, enemies spawning out of thin air. I thought it was stupid at first with the void monster and skeletons, but it seems to be a recurring theme.

Random observation; environments are OK but character/clothing/armor/wep art sucks in this game; they don't look good nor distinctive from any cam angle/distance.
