I try to migrate my save file folder from my Larian folder from one computer to another and it doesn't detect anything in the new one. That's beyond lame and frustrating. I don't want to start all over again.

I'd say crafting is wholly unnecessary on normal difficulty. I've yet to make anything other than a few arrows. Anything you need you can usually just buy as there is little in the way of gold sinks except more random gear sold by the merchants. I was at 55,000 gold and bought a unique legendary sword from a vendor in the goblin village for 33,000... ended up replacing in in an hour.

Cant you use the same Steam account? It does have cloud saving.

It's the same account.
So whats the problem? It should recognize saves in the cloud. If it doesnt then make a support ticket to Gaben.

I think you need to make a profile that has the same name as the old one. Or make a new profile and put all the saves under your old profile in the new profile folder.

Well, Div:OS does actually feel like an RPG which requires time, effort, patience and perserverance to get through. Most post-90s RPGs don't fit the bill.

D:OS is still the #1 top selling game on steam and has been all week. I think it's asfe to say Larian's turning a profit on this now. :incline:

To expand further on crafting I've yet to run into a fight where I thought: boy if only I had augmented my weapons/armor I'd have been fine. So, for a first time playthrough (unless you're going for hard right away), I wouldn't bother. Whenever you go back to replay and up the challenge either via increased difficulty or 'lone wolf mode' or both then I'd say crafting/improving your gear is probably necessary; or, at least, helps a great deal.

Great game, last boss took a while, not hard just the resistance and a large HP made it take a while to kill. With above 100% resistance to all elements except for Void of 40%. My mage never was in danger of getting killed except when the boss used physical attacks.

I don't like the journal, its pretty simplistic[?], doesn't say much or record much of the information for most of the quests. its like bullet points or something.
Crafting and probably anything that is related to inventory in general turns to a mess.
I like the randomness of loots but it shouldn't happen all the time. Like for bosses and some of the special chests should have something special, getting random crap from a grandiose looking fairy chest was not cool.

Combat was pretty fun, especially magic with controlled environment was pretty great, I loved that. Some quests especially in Cyseal were pretty great. Stealthing was great in the Troll King's cave but was pretty terrible in the Mine, it resorted to mostly save scumming which sucked.

Only part I had some trouble in is the Trial of Ascension which there are 2 doors with elemental sign on them that I couldn't open but I guess didn't need to, to advance. I also never could figure out how to access Cassandra's private chambers.

Oh and I met the Codex Imps, I gotta be honest they were kinda annoying, following me around whenever I wanted to talk to Icara or ZixZax and saying the same thing over and over while I am talking to them but still couldn't give them up to the Watch. didn't lie nor help the watch. for a little bit I thought the Mysterious Stranger was part of the Codex with his 'Kay response.

There isn't really anything else out there at the moment. And Steam just had its big sale. So it's kind of relative I guess.
Great to see the comments section descend into SJW bullshit again. What a scumhole that place is. They have no idea what sexism actually is or what most women think of trivial bullshit like this.
So your first reaction was "let's bring some of this delicious SJW bullshit" over to the 'Dex.

...crafting words...

What gets me is why is there a "progress bar" on it? That is MMO shit right there. Make it or don't make it RIGHT NOW, what's this 5 second wait bullshit in a SP game?

Think I might re-start. Just did cyseal, stepped away for a few days... but I'm like... feeling the urge to experiment with different builds. I like games that make me want to do that. (see, e.g. Wiz8).

Eurrrggggh. I'm at Hunter's Edge and only now do I discover Oath of Desecration, because I never checked out Witchcraft in this playthrough. I respec'd but funnily enough respec makes you forget all your skills, so I go on a great world hunt for skillbooks and recover all I need.... but still nobody is selling fucking Oath of Desecration.

They're at least 3 bars which can be chosen by clicking on 1 at left side of hotbar Comrade-Kun.

Yeah I almost had to replace skill and then switching bars when I had to accomodate all those special arrows.
Thank God Larian let me switch bars and made me know all the cooldown on all skills in one glance.
When you level up, put more points on perception.

Things like pyramids wouldn't get into game if game was single player.

Yeah I can't believe they never put this pyramid in their previous games, it must be due to the technological limitations amirite?

Put all the special arrows in a bag, drag the bag to the hot bar, open the bag in combat and pick your arrow, much, much better solution, same for miscellaneous scrolls, you can craft bags with a rope and leather scraps.

I'm loving the game but it's not perfect. IMO, the not-completely-polished quests are one of the worsts parts:

- The Intiation: If you open the first left gate in the temple, you bypass all the rot and puzzles stuff but nothing is aknowledge. If you use the star stone, it says you've been cured despite never been infected and if you talk to Loic without aproaching the star stone he still thinks you've used it to cure from the rot. Even if you manage to bypass the star stone after the trials (it can be done), Loic can't react to you being still Rotten.

- The Goblin Totem: After all the talk about revealing the chaman plot, after killing him you can't reveal shit. Even though that would a cool way to the get the blood stone from the totem without bloodshed.

- Slavers and Masters: I took Frederik blood stone before meeting him and made the potion for the imp but there was no option to give it to him. After talking to Frederik, refusing to give him the blood stone and watching him leave, I go to talk to the imp and give him the potion. Back to where Frederik was, the Imp says he's dead and leaves.

Those are the ones I remember right now...

I know that crafting all these quest with a reaction to every possible player choice is hard but there's some very obvious but missing reactions.

PC Gamer USED to be a great magazine. USED TO. 15 years ago that is.

PCGAMER has always been shit. Stop the lies and start the truths. In fact I would say PCGAMER for me was a harbinger of decline when Computer Gaming World was at the height of its powers.

Fuck PCGAMER.

One more little thing:
Distance actually matter when bashing chest.
What I mean is if you bash a chest, the NPC will be alerted, even if they're distracted in a conversation.
However, this doesn't hold true if you stand 15 metre from the chest and fire arrows at it.
