Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Grab the Codex by the pussy RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I helped put crap in Monomyth
I only played very briefly, but I did notice some of the dialogues at the start of the game seemed to have been rewritten slightly.

UI wise I was expecting more changes, it seems to be mostly the same. Item tooltips (stats etc) seem to be cleaner than they were before.

Huh, they've made a separated store page unlike Wasteland 2 (and did not take advantage of 9,886 positive user reviews for the original).
That's how they did it with Divinity 2, so not surprised.

Also: Patching on consoles is ridiculously harder than on PC, so obviously they can't continue to work on it till the last minute there.

Here comes the Enhanced Edition
27 OCTOBER - DEATHKNIGHT
Today is the day!

Our busy little brains and fingers have worked for months and months making Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition. We've made thousands of changes to the original game, adding controller support, local co-op splitscreen, full AAA voicing, new quests and situations, new difficulty modes, and an entirely new ending featuring several new regions. We’ve put our hearts and souls into the Enhanced Edition, and we’re proud to release it into the world.

If you have Divinity: Original Sin in your Steam library, you are getting this game for free and you will find Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition in your Steam library as a new entry.

It is out now!

Weird how the game has two pages now.

It's called the mute button...
Anyways, Tactical Mode added more mobs.

Honour mode is like ironman right? 1 save only, or wat?

Yeah, not my cup of tea. I was taking it easy on Tact mode and got caught off guard by the cooldowns and bomb flask.
It's very unfriendly. With dual wield wand that cannot miss and has elemental crit effect, I rather not bother with Ranger now. Yes, I'm sad to say, Rangers grew shittier in this edition. :(

Hey now, maybe rangers have some neat stuff you haven't had time to notice yet!

Also, wow that voice from your party member. Lol.

I sped it up cause I forgot to change combat animation, sorry bout that XD
Oh wait. There's no such options. LMAO> THANKS SVEN

Target Corpses (Ranger): ranger aims at all corpses in a radius and explodes them all

Meh...someone need to tell them Ranger damage options is shit and waiting for something to die before unleashing AoE damage is retarded.

Lack of additional hotbar is strange. Why not put 27 slots instead of just 9 in there? I fucking hate opening spell book to find my 10th situational spell.

I'm underwhelmed. Won't be replaying this game too much since the 'Quality of Life' changes are just not there:
1. Where's the combat animation speed up?
2. Still no multi-hotbar on display to check what spell is on cooldown and which is ready from a glance.

The voice acting is forgettable. I really don't care about 100% spoken dialogue. Not sure who the fuck thinks this is a must have for a game like this.
I don't mind it, I just find it amazing they didn't 'enhance' the UI way more than it should.

It's a cliché, but: console gamers.

There an option to switch it off?
Well you can mute the voice audio, but that affects everything voiced, not just the dialogue. If you want the voicing to return to the way it was in the original, tough luck I suppose.
All of the original voices has changed as well however. There were a fair amount of voices I liked in the original, all replaced by something worse :(

Crafting has become more annoying, can't just click and drag anymore but have to open a new "crafting" window from your inventory.

Voicing all the in-combat lines to maintain a Fully Voiced™ experience might make it difficult to provide an animation speed option. If you could only have one or the other, which one would you choose? (That's presumably the question they posed to their mainstream audience.)
