No. DU only sells user info here to Lithuanian Hitmen. And thanks to the latest BRO's who just donated, we are now in the lead. :salute:

Update on Codex vs Watch. They are now kicking our ass in funding.

More jews there. It actually makes Codex money worth more when people here give despite not affording to.

:smug:
More like they hadn't participated in site fund raisers before, so they have some pocket change, while Glorious Codexia has raised around 30K in moneys and is still in process of recovering from Torment KS.

Shitty time by Larian, though, they should've at least not overlapped this much with Torment KS, and let theirs run at least one week into May.

Agreed. I (too) would've been able to pledge much more had it not been the timiing they chose.

They don't have a fancy realtime system to keep track of the donations though, so it's a bit early to celebrate. It's time VOTS some suicide spammer should risk righteous flogging by DU i say.

KS Update said:
Overview of add-ons and reward tiers

Update #20 · Apr 20, 2013 · comment

No new content in this update. Instead a handy list of add-ons and rewards, as requested by the Weresheep Of Original Sin.
Shipping physical goods
  • All physical goods ship free if you are in the US or Europe. If you live in Europe, you need to select US shipping when you pledge. We'll know from your address that you're in Europe, so don't worry.
  • If you already added an extra amount to your pledge to cover the shipping cost and live in Europe, you can remove the shipping cost by using the "manage your pledge" button.
Dragon Commander inclusion
  • Every tier above 95$ as well as the 95$ digital tier receive a copy of Divinity Dragon Commander. The physical 95$ tier does not get a copy of Divinity Dragon Commander.
  • Lower tiers can get a copy Divinity Dragon Commander by adding 40$.
Divinity: Original Sin Add-ons
Digital add-ons (Require base tier pledge of $25):
  • Divine Divinity Digital Version (HD): add $5
  • Weresheep Forum Badge, In the Credits as a Weresheep, a hint: add $6
  • THE Hint concerning the Weresheep: add $666
  • Digital Artbook featuring the Art of Divinity Original Sin: add $8
  • Digital Map of the World of Divinity Original Sin: add $8
  • Digital Soundtrack of Divinity Original Sin: add $10
  • Extra Digital Copy of Divinity Original Sin: add $20
  • Beta Access for Divinity Original Sin: add $20
  • Alpha Access for Divinity Original Sin: add $50 (includes beta access)
  • Fanday Ticket: add $150
  • Divinity Anthology (digital): add $20
  • Divinity Dragon Commander (digital): add $40
Physical add-ons (Require physical tier at $65 or higher):
  • Cloth Map: add $25
  • Signed Poster: add $25
  • T-Shirt Weresheep Logo: add $25
  • T-Shirt Divinity Original Sin: add $25
For those wondering how to get add-on(s) on Kickstarter, you must add the amount over your base tier selection. Select your tier - or leave your current tier selected - and then change the amount in the top box that is your total 'Pledge Amount' to cover the cost of the add-on(s)

For those wondering which add-on(s) come with which tiers, you can re-check your tier rewards here:

You forgot the most important part of an update!

Really though a boring update if needed. I hope they do another today - something to help push interest.

Respect to ForkTong for his response, not gonna bother responding myself -- he did a better job than I could have.

Here's hoping more funds keep coming in from all these youtube LPs.

I already did a playthrough this afternoon and I sure mentioned it, don't worry :) But as I said before, they edit these videos afterwards.

I would bet that most people on codex believe that games are more than a fun waste of time. You don't keep bitching for years how the video games declined if you don't think games are more important than cheap entertaiment. If someone want to find people that think that games are only cheap entertainment you only need to look the millions who buy CoD, Gears of War and other souless, marketing driven bullshit. I felt good while playing Larian games, they have a good sense of humor and are made with evident passion (you only need to hear the update song to understand why) . Admiring other people work and passion for what they do, don't make you a LARPER.

From Totalbiscuit's twitter:

Just did a big session with the pre-alpha of Divinity: Original Sin. That game is crazy. Doing solo commentary rather than with a dev
Summoned an ice elemental, it got killed and turned into a patch of ice, which I then slipped on when I was trying to run away
Then I melted the ice with a fireball, the orc slipped in the puddle of water and was then wet, so he was more vulnerable to electricity
Also anyone standing in that water get hit by electricity. Yeah... there's some depth to this RPGs combat.

:greatjob:

and now he needs to upload the video so larian can get more money!
I'm sure they will get quite a bit more. He seems very positive about the game.
