Statements like that are so funny. On the main stage whenever naga wasn't banned versus them PPD always got her first pick for Aui. Actually excluding the first 2 games versus Newbee in group stage, naga was banned first phase or first pick for Aui.

I mean, I would rather see a Naga support any day over Gyro spam. At least there are nuances to the hero other than run at them and press Q early game, and sit back and press E lategame.

Funny seeing Dendi now, when I abandoned the scene he was dominating everything, now he is more of a personality

It has to do with the fact that the level of play has increased a lot overall; Dendi is still a very good player but he doesn't stand out the way he used to back during the early Dota 2 days. Now everyone else is as good as he is.

BTW, what humbling nerfs are keeping Invoker out of everything? He was a great hero for Dendi and Resolution and to soak up important bans.

his base damage is almost techies tier bad, so unless you get exort, he is impossible to mid with.

I feel like Invoker was only worth drafting in the short period where people were running DK mid and/or Bristle safelane, since a Quas/Wex Invoker totally wrecks heroes that are that mana dependant and want to fight constantly. Quas/Wex also works decently well when you safelane farm him for a quick orchid and then start ganking otherwise elusive heroes like a slark, sniper or drow that dont get Manta/BKB early.

Optimization, if you drop an item that gives you mana and then bottle, you'll get a higher percentage of mana than if you keep it in your inventory while you bottle.

It was risky, but I guess at the level they're playing at some risks are worth it to get small advantages.
