One thing's for sure: It will sell great!
It will be a bomb. The last Dragon age sold 3 million copies and that was a decade ago and in a year where there were no strong game releases or economic problems. It will probably sell as well as Suicide Squad. Plus games were less expensive a decade ago.

That is incorrect. It has sold 6 million as of 2018. You might be confusing it with Andromeda.

No, I was referring to about one year after the launch. It had sold around 4 million copies as old VGC messages attest. The other two million came from discounted sales, bundles and the like as it is the course as time passes.

Of course VGCcharts is not exactly a reliable source but that is another can of worms entirely

Imagine naming a character Taash unironically.

Can't wait for a VtMB2 crossover so you can have Taash + Phyre.

These hacks can only steal and make everything they touch worse.

This is CS Lewis' Calormen evil god Tash:

tMpGr6s.jpeg

He scared the shit out of me when I was a kid reading Chronicles of Narnia for the first time. Now look at this "Taash" abomination and the only think that comes to mind is this old Tolkien quote: "Evil is not able to create anything new, it can only distort and destroy what has been invented or made by the forces of good."

Oh my good lord, that Qunari companion continues to look like shit.

He made me appreciate Karlah more.
If that's the choice I'd rather solo. Can you play solo in BG3, Veilguard or Avowed?
BG2 / Pathfinders are soloable.

No, you must endure companions in Failguard. You can, however, recruit mercenaries in BG3. I don't know or care about Avoid.

Its lifetime sales are about 6 mln copies, little bit more than Andromeda and Anthem, which sold 5 mln copies each. For now 5 mln copies looks like a ceiling Bioware can't break.

My wife just pre-ordered it. I'm too old to get divorced.

:negative:

I feel you, I have the same situation. Writing here is the only way I can vent a little and God knows I will endure watching her playing this shit.

Lol, people all over are reporting on the release date.
"We laugh at this shit game all the time b- OH HEY GUYS LOOK AT THE RELEASE DATE!!!!!"
:nocountryforshitposters:
Oh, I assure you that I have zero interest in playing the game, but I am curious to see how things end up.

But don't worry, there is another game that I will get in October. A game that would disgust you even more than this one!

How can someone NOT play this? It's a Day 1 pirate trainwreck to behold along with Bloodlines 2.
Waste of bandwidth. You can watch some retarded Youtuber play it for 15 minutes and get the same experience as playing it. This won't be any kind of "game" that has "interactions" and "choices".

Origins, class and racial reactivity has already been confirmed in the gameplay reveal footage, thoughalbeit. How much mechanical impact it'll have is a different question.

You laugh but the sad truth is that this abomination will sell and it will be a success. Not GTA levels of success but enough. Reviews will be 9s and 10s, preddit will love it, DAO fans are mostly gone but we don't matter anymore and you can see on videos, comments etc. the new fanbase, "people" who are excited to play this, who grew up playing DA2 and DAI. This will not be bioware's last breath. Unfortunately.
