Oh it will sell. The question is how successfuly it will sell for EA to not be considered a failure.

If it sells as much as DAI it will be fine. Then everyone will celebrate the revival of the series, the IP that was lost and the found.
Give it 5 years and people on the Codex will call it a "diamond in the rough" like they do with DA2 and DAI.

This won't be any kind of "game" that has "interactions" and "choices".
Origins, class and racial reactivity has already been confirmed in the gameplay reveal footage, thoughalbeit. How much mechanical impact it'll have is a different question.
In this modern era, they just add a few lines of dialogue.
But as they got rid of the stupid open world, MAYBE they focused the time and resources on adding new scenes/missions based on your background. But this is being quite optimistic scenario.

Bioware design has been extremely cookie-cutter all the way back. There will absolutely be no branching paths or extra missions.

There is some weird reverse cope in this thread.

You can tell this game is gonna bomb so hard that the execs mandated a trailer featuring a more standard looking male character for Rook.

It was probably an emergency all hands meeting where some higher up said "your ugly fucks won't sell games."

I'm getting so much enjoyment out of this game and I haven't even paid for it. Pointing and laughing is the new gaming.

That guy with the saints row wings looks so out of place. Did their art director become blind or something?

It looks bland and mediocre, which is still an improvement on the previous promotional material so props to whoever put it together for that I suppose.
