Just spread them out and you'll be fine. You get plenty in the PC version and you can pick them back up.

It's also handy to have some at hand for escort mission. Go to the destination spot, drop portcrystal, port to town, pick up escort mission NPC, port to crystal: done!

That's one more point for DD I guess: best taxi missions ever, where if you're able to teleport, it's not forbidden for some mysterious reason. You have toys, and the game is happy with you abusing them.

It also requires prior knowledge of each quest's route, not something a first time player has. Unless you're a faggot reading guides.

After having done one blind that had me escort a braindead NPC all the way to the Shadow Fort, I call it "pretending to have a chat with the NPC about the destination before committing". My game, my rules.

Take the NPC at the tavern's notice board, see the point on a map, get back to the notice board and cancel the quest. Then travel to the destination point, drop a crytal, get back to the tavern and take the quest again -> Voila!

That doesn't count as a failed quest with it disappearing until NG+? Can't remember, it's been a while.

All that time wasted when you could've just taken the NPC to the destination.

No, just interact with the notice board again after learning the destination, the quest will return to the notice board

And see my favourite mentally challenged girl Mercedes getting oneshot by griffin/drake/whatever, or just straight up suicide jumping from the nearest cliff?

But frankly that's about it. The difficulty to keep her alive. It's one of hardest stuff which would make you hate her for being completely retarded and running into dangerous areas.

I mean, that seems like a fair result for agreeing to escort someone to somewhere you've never been before. Also, can't you just pick the escortee up and carry them to safety while your pawns distract? I never did much of the escorts because it's boring shit but you all sound pretty incompetent.

Well I didn't mean the whole way. I just meant like, there's no reason to watch one get stomped on by a griffin.

Well, I also started to "cheat" in those missions.

However I fondly remember my first escort quest, without any port stones, to... Shadow Fort, was it? Took me several hours, multiple reloads. Heck, even met a Drake just outside the fort... of course needed to reload and try to avoid it/rush trough.

But it was worth it... and the greatsword I got as a reward served me well trough most of the base game!

You're supposed to arrive to Gran Soren and immediately take the quest to escort Renault to the Great Wall at minimum level and no equipment, at night, for maximum gamer points.

A couple weeks ago, Capcom posted a job listing for Assistant Producer for "core titles"

https://doda.jp/DodaFront/View/JobSearchDetail.action?jid=3004027255

>当社のアシスタントプロデューサーとして、「バイオハザード」「モンスターハンター」「ドラゴンズドグマ」などの基幹タイトルシリーズにおけるプロデュース業務(アシスタントプロデューサー業務)に携わっていただきます

>As an Assistant Producer, you will be involved in the production of core title series such as "Resident Evil", "Monster Hunter" and "Dragon's Dogma".
I want to believe
