Capcom has another survey. Tell them you hate tranny shit, ugly women, and malware DRM.

https://captown.capcom .com/en/super_elections

Also Breath of Fire, Rival Schools and maybe Onimusha are the only correct options for the remake questions. Ace Attorney would be a waste because there's no tech limits holding it back and it already has a version with fancy graphics. Commando, Final Fight, and Gargoyle's Quest are all "Just make a new entry at that point." Mega Man 1-3 already had a remake (Wily Wars), and 1 already had another remake (Powered Up). Rival Schools is early 3D and had huge cuts for the English release (an entire single player mode for create a characters) in both games. Breath of Fire improved game mechanics wildly as it went on (and the second game's translation is infamously crap), and jRPG mechanics have improved massively as well. Onimusha began as an RE engine and would benifit from a remake, but it would just be like the new REmakes.

The onimusha games are already perfect and I shudder to think of what souls-inspired monstrosity we would end up with if they were remade today.

As much as I'd love a proper BoF sequel (and a remake of the first two would be basically that, given how wildly they'd change the mechanics I'm sure) I don't trust crapcom to handle the franchise any more. Let it RIP or hand it off to some indie company that would actually care about it. Same goes for Megaman. The world doesn't need any more cashgrab mobile ports of classic games made for retarded hipsters that pretend to like classic things.

Edit: Gave them this for the last section:
As an old fan, the way older franchises like Breath of Fire were mishandled and then never brought back is a betrayal.

Capcom had a reputation for making amazing 2D games. Bring it back! Make games that look as good as Hollow Knight!

Rather than a few really high budget games, I'd rather see many smaller budget games.

Stop pandering to angry people on twitter. Make more sexy characters!

Man, 400 characters wasn't even half as much room as I needed for my greivances. Maybe I should have just focused on 2D and less pandering and including the supporting arguments for those. Who am I kidding though, nobody is going to read this- some algorythm is going to scan all the responses, count up how often 'LGBT' got included, and some suit is going to hear that 66% of responses wanted more trannies in their games.

Also, for the remake/sequel, I picked 1942 for the lulz.

Can't believe I spammed Capcom to add Mesmer to the game and they did it in the form of Trickster.
Am I a god?

Breath of Fire sucks though.
The first one sucks, but 2,3 and 5 are all pretty good, 2 through 4 are god damned works of art, at least the 2D parts of them were. 3 in particular would easily make my top 5 jrpg list; it's only real flaw is a lack of difficulty if you're using the systems well. It's kind of baffling how quickly they dumped the franchise after 4. I like 5, but it was clearly put in the hands of some weirdo that didn't want to do a BoF game to begin with, and when it flopped for obvious reasons, they shelved the series.

I will most likely start as Fighter, my favorite class in DD1, seems that it will be even more fun in DD2 for what they had shown. Maybe Thief, cause Strider was my third favourite. Probably will end up going Warfare combining Fighter, Mage/Sorcerer and/or Mystic Spear to make a kind of Mystic Knight.

Pawn will probably be Archer to start with. Depending on what each class offer I may change it to something else.

I remember when you started in Dragon's dogma as a mage, you killed the first boss by punching trough his head with a staff. It was that metal.

Can't offer sources, but Dragon Quarter was directed by Makoto Ikehara, one of the creators of the saga and who has worked on it since the first game. Seems like he wanted to create something new and personal. I heard rumors that it was because they knew it was going to be the last one, but those are just rumors. Incidentally, BoF Dragon Quarter is one of my favourites JRPGs and even to this day quite unique, even if it probably should have been a spin-off instead of a main entry considering how different it was.

Edit: Ok, I did find an interview, it says nothing about it being the last game but it does say who the director was and how he wanted to make something new due to the change of console generation https://www.rpgfan.com/feature/rpgf...suya-yoshikawa-breath-of-fire-dragon-quarter/

What class are you all planning on playing? As well as your pawn.

Myself, likely a fighter to start with, with a mage dps/healer as pawn.

Just like the first one, support mage for my character, two fighters and a strider / ranger.

I have bad news about your first plan.
You can pretty much recreate the class using the Warfarer vocation at least. You can even carry the whole set of arms (Sword, Shield, daggers and Bow) instead of having to choose two.

If this will be anything like the previous Capcom releases, then there's a good chance we might get a demo by like 8th of March...
