Grid Cartographer, I work on a tracking profile to further the decline, for that I'll have to play through it completely, world is made of 8x8 grids that have to be adjusted manually

Looks much better than my GC maps, but then I haven't used it in a while.

So, paper is obviously an obsolete medium, so here are W6 and W7 maps done by hand in Excel.

(at least Excel '07 is needed to display readable colors in W7 map)

Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Bubbles In Memoria A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit. Pathfinder: Wrath
The only time I mapped a game myself, just to see what its like, was while playing Wizardry 6, and I threw in the towel halfway through.

Yet, somehow seeing all these handdrawn maps from you guys makes me feel happy feelings in my heart. Carry on, bros! :salute:

Maybe I shall try again, one day.

A game like Wiz 6 doesn't even need perfect maps for every location. Most places are easy to handle with a quick drawn map with all the doors and stuff present. The pyramid is an example where you have to make an exact one. Finding out where a shallow map is enough is half the fun. In some games I just make a circle for every location/room in which I write what it includes then lines for pathways go to the next circle or some shit.

I really enjoy making my autistically accurate maps. I almost ran out of space for a Wiz V map so I decided that a tile in game was half a square on my grid paper and it looked like pure distilled autism

While Axiom Verge has an automap, the game requires extensive backtracking and with no notes isn't all that useful, hence I'm now doing my own notes on paper

You know, this is actually kinda... disappointing? Not the map, but the level itself - if you follow the path, it turns out to be a very linear corridor with a couple of relatively small branches along the way.

That's the second level of Dungeon Master. Of course it's super linear, it's like the tutorial level :) IIRC top-left after the staricase is when you encounter your first mummy. It freaked me out when I played the game as a kid.

Although it's true that in general, DM was a pretty linear game overall ( unlike CSB ).

I had so much fun with this game. I sadly can't find the pictures of the last maps. Grimrock 3 when? :(

As Conflux 3 (a DM mod) link is no longer available, those who are interested can grab it from my GD space here :

some tips:
leave a room in your party as you'll be able to recruit more heroes later (mighty dwarves)
Zed is the only one who can understand some messages written in some wall. Gando will teach you how deep and deadly the pits can be.

Lalelith is really a funny level : you'll have to prevent an invasion and save the coucil. Be warned !

Save dem and you'll be rewarded greatly

There are 4 guilds, one for each class. So you can only level up in each class if you have advanced enough in the guilds, and for that, you'll need their own special item (e.g. monk staff is necessary to advance in priest guild)
You can combine rat fur+ used torch to make some light.
Rat steak is rich in protein. It is said you can even place some over your eyes.

Sadly, the link to unlock the maps works no more. But here is the Mines level
