I installed a retail, CD copy of Shadows of Amn for a few clips and it indeed defaults to Normal. As far as I recall, it always defaulted to Normal.

So RPG Poledex has been playing on "Easy" all this time.....damn I wouldn't want to be Polish right now.

It is you who has been playing on "łatwy". All of us switched to core rules ("standardowy"), because who plays games on easy? Westerners, apparently.

I really wonder how many westerners believe the "normal" is really the default. I guess it is, but it shouldn't be. Are you also playing scs with additional damage resistance?

SCS is literally the best mod for BG/BG2 unless you're a storyfag who plays on Novice just for the story.
