I'm ashamed to admit I used shields in Demon's Souls and early Dark Souls back in the day. I didn't know any better back then. Once I learned the way of dual weild/two-handed combat, I could never go back. A true battle hardened warrior fights with both hands.
Another thing we need spell like Fall Control so instead of riding around I would just jump off the cliff I really think there are too many high ledges
- Grants buff that removes damage and noise from fall
For instance, fuck the flying enemies, especially the goddamned dragonflies. Whoever programmed those should be given a razorblade enema.

Dude, just stand still. If you move they won't stop flying around but you stay still they'll just stand in front of you after they have done their spazzy routine and you can just kill them easily.

That was me. Anyway, that's true, if you want to spend that much time waiting for it and if it's within reach, etc. etc.
Does power stance really make that big of a difference with greatswords? I went and farmed a second Banished greatsword and I feel like I'm doing roughly the same amount of damage as I was two-handing a single sword. And now I'm fat rolling again because of the added weight. Not really seeing the benefit of using 2 Banished greatswords...
Also my swings are horizontal now. I liked the high slanted swings because it made killing airborne enemies easy.
She's always going to die. Turns out sitting right next to a road full of undead and monsters is hazardous to the health. Also not sure if i messed up a quest or something. When i entered the area i meat this blind girl that told me to send a letter to her father in a castle. I haven't gotten there yet, but i went back to her and she is dead.
To be fair I would have said the same after DS2
he definitely does drop somethingI'm asking because this time he didn't drop anything and i'm wondering if i got bugged out of some item.
forget itBTW guys, i'm SL12!
I'm still waiting for the game to get hard lmao.
The game would probably be harder for you guys if you did not pop in this thread and ask question after question after question after question.BTW guys, i'm SL12!

go play Dark Souls 3 or something
there is a reason this game got mainstream success...
Can't wait for you to reach later areas with that tiny healthbar and discover gank squads and spam enemy groups who one-shot you from twice as much HP... :D
But I never got lucky on any of the other fucking bosses, because you can't get lucky against 360 degree 50-foot lingering AoE spam and cartwheels of death with hitboxes the size of a windmill's sails.
It's for people like me who can now finally play around with greases etc. without the must-save-for-later-but-never-use-it malfunction. Just the knowledge I could easily get more is enoughWhat even was the purpose of crafting?
It's so grandiosely pointless
Tibia Mariner was reused four times actually.Even the fucking necro boatman boss from Limgrave is reused somewhere in the snowy mountains, poor soul
What the fuck, man. What the fuck. I salute your effort, but why would you do this to yourself?I fought him with base vigour at 10 I think
Getting at least to 30 Vigor should be a priority for any character. After that, one should try to get to 40 as soon as possible and then slowly dump points every once in a while to reach 60 by the endgame. If you're a coward like me, adding heavy armor, the Crimson Amber Medallion +2, the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, and Morgott's rune allows you to survive 2-3 hits against anything.Anyway I will go do some farming so I can put points into vigour because unless you do a level 1 run, more HP is absolutely essential no matter the "build" you're going for.
Because I wanted a hybrid as well as a glass cannon. I literally put no points into vigour or endurance. I have a talisman that increases all my stats by 5 but I take more damage. That's the only HP increase I have. I didn't realize that it was so important. I only put points into intelligence, faith, mind and arcane. I wear the twinsage crown that gives 6 extra int but reduces my HP and stamina. Oh well. I have a few farming spots I'll try to rush early. I'm also hunting some big bosses that give tons of runes to get some extra levels. I'll attempt Mohg the Omen in the capital sewers next. And I'm doing the putrid tree whatever in the War Dead catacombs but that sucks massively. What the fuck, man. What the fuck. Doing anything with 10 Vigor in this game is an impressive feat.
