Interesting
There was cut content related to Miquella so maybe that's why. Miquella will probably be important in the DLC that will inevitably come.

If they make DLC, then Miqi would be the obvious choice. He's the last one alive and if Moghwyn's cocoon works, he'll be a proper god or something close to it. But since it's Mohgwyn's cocoon, Miqi will be corrupted somehow.

I think most male child characters are voiced by women, so that credit would make sense.

EqUiP a FuCkInG ShIeLd. By the way remember it has to be a heavy one, and you need to have enough stamina to endure the entire thing, if she crushes your guard you're dead! Also, remember that in the second phase she inflicts red angry poison with each hit, so if you survive get ready to be handicapped the rest or the fight if you don't heal.

What is the best upgrade to the Longsword for the same playstyle in the late game? I mostly I've been spamming the Bloody Slash when 2H or with Jellyfish shield and I already reached the giant's map area with the starter weapon lol.

Elden Beast is such a weird boss to end the game with. Ideally, you want your boss to be the ultimate challenge, forcing you to utilize everything that you've acquired throughout the game. But then Elden Beats is like the one creature in the whole game that's different (well, maybe with Astel as an exception).
Another person who has never played Demon's Souls. :rpgcodex:
What does Elden beast have to do with DeS?

In DeS, false king was a "true test of skill" kind of boss, while the true king is an intentional subversion of "grand final boss" trope. In ER, Radagon fits the mold of "true test of skill" boss, but he's weak, and there's no break between him and Elden beast. Because of that, Radagon ends up being basically a tax you'll have to pay before facing a true final boss, and true final boss is just some big monster with shitty magic attacks who also constantly gliding away from you.

This is a souls game, there is no such a thing as an upgrade treadmill of weapons. Some unique weapons are obviously more OP than others because of their weapon art, but the weapon itself isn't better, its r1 and r2 won't do more damage.
In the case of normal length straightswords, the longsword is one of the best. Broadsword does slightly more damage but it has dogshit slashing type r2 instead of the thrust.

If you were int, faith or arcane based build wise, some weapons are better suited for the magic builds, but if you stay pure physical, you can very well go to the end of the game with just your longsword.

Experiment with various ashes of war instead, some are more powerful than others.

Wait! Wait. Wait... I can play Bloodborne on PC?
If you have good internet, low ping to Sony servers, and are okay with no dlc and input lag, yes you can.
I finished BB on psnow, even though there was some noticeable input lag, as long as it is consistent (ie the input lag doesn't have excessive variance) you can adapt yourself to it and play in a more predictive manner. BB has one of the more forgiving parry mechanics and I managed to use it to trivialize some enemies like the forest gank squad.

Meanwhile playing Elden Ring with no input lag I didn't even bother with parrying anything, lol.

Don't forget the controller. I believe you can use an Xbox one, but Sony doesn't support their own PS5 Dualsense  that's what I got several months ago, and had to resort to 3rd party emulator to turn it into DualShock 4. Sony is a very curious company.

Yeah, the internet is very important, but I'd say that as far as "streaming" of anything goes, it's top notch. As good as it's going to get. Even the tiny fonts were extremely sharp, in general everything was 99% as sharp as on PS4 (admittedly, not very sharp in case of many textures, and the game is on 30fps with occasional dips. It didn't even get the PS4 Pro patch).

At first I actually tried PS Now to play Red Dead Redemption from PS3, and it was like watching some highly compressed 360p Youtube vid that has a lot of problems with buffering. Metal Gear Solid 4 looks pretty disgusting too.

It's just the way things are now. I remember this fucking awful review of DS2 I saw a few years back where this guy was crying about the game's poorly balanced stats because you just have to level adaptability no matter your build. Meanwhile, I was shrugging off everything short of the Ancient Dragon with the Gyrm Greatshield.

Also if she decides to spam it 3 times in a row, which she definitely does now and then, she heals to full, deleting your 15 mins worth of progress, the only solution to which is to uninstall the game.

What kind of complaint is "get ready to be handicapped the rest of the fight if you don't heal" even supposed to be? You have to use a craftable consumable OR cast a spell that requires something like 12 faith. Even in Pokémon you have to use antidotes sometimes.

I'm not saying that she isn't soul-crushingly hard, but crying because "she is awful game design" when you insist on facing her with a blindfold without using your thumbs is just sad. There are tools to deal with that attack. You can block it if you're a melee STR character, you can stagger her out of the initial animation with a status effect or enough damage, you can i-frame through it with Bloodhound's Step. People wanting to defeat her blindly without having to either adapt their strategy or use summons are just decline enablers.

Literally anyone who complains about anything even remotely related to Elden Ring:

So i'm at SL31 standing in front of the door of Rennala doing some co-op and i'm getting about three times the number of invasions i got in Stormveil, and a lot of them are just cancer.

I'm not mad with invaders for using every possible dirty trick in the book since that comes with the territory, but right now i have little expectation to actually spar with the invader since it seems this game's pvp revolves entirely around kill shot abilities.

I can only imagine what it's going to be like at SL150.

The killshots are the game, if you want low fantasy duels try KCD.

Or, you know, previous Souls games.

After seeing footage of Pvp in DS1, which consisted of people running around each other like retards, just to land a janky backstab teleporting players from 5ft away, I never cared to even try that. No co-op either, I'd feel like I didn't make it.

I was invaded once in Bloodborne and it was cool actually. It was in Nightmare Frontier after those 2 hunter npc fuckers, where the bell maiden added a real invader as an insult to injury (literally), as they had me significantly worn down on health, but I still knew I had a chance. Probably helps there are no backstabs there, just timed ripostes from the front.
