Agree. I hate strictly open world games, unless they are restricted in scope (Gothic, New Vegas). If this is going to be open world, I hope it will be smaller, with properly hand crafted locations.Looks amazing, dark souls 1 open world. And in january, AMAZING
Are you fucking retarded?
One of the most important things, which makes Dark Souls as great as it is, is the fact that it's _not_ open world.
"Dark Souls, but open world" sounds like "good, but bad."
Literally everyone was expecting it to be Dark Souls 4, just like everyone (I hope) probably knew that Fat Fuck Martin likely only had been hired for one consulting session so they could slap his name on it for PR purposes.Fromsoft is creatively bankrupt. This is dark souls 4 and here we all thought this game would be something special with goerge RR martin being involved. It even has similar art assets from dark souls 3 those enemies in a chapel.
creatively bankrupt
dated, visually and thematically
So much this.
This is also pretty much what the open world parts of the trailer look like.

Except Dark Souls is open-world...

you faggs should just neck yourself
This. I'm 100% positive we're not gonna get the Ubi-style checkmark based open world. It's p. much certain it's gonna be a continuous map with instances like Darksiders 2 or MGS V. As long as the instances are just as good as BB or DS levels it's fine, the open world filler can give it a less gamey, more immersive feeling.Have faith in FROM. I don't think that they will fall in the same open world trap, in which the rest of the industry fell into.
I'm going to slurp every pixel.Nothing wrong with liking it
I think you are confused.Looks amazing, dark souls 1 open world. And in january, AMAZING
