How's exploration and verticality if one were to avoid using the jetpack, by the way?
I dunno, I started using a cheat for infinite jetpack and the game actually improved considerably.
I'm quoting myself here because I'm getting wtf:s as reaction to this, but I must honestly say that to me, the game has objectively improved by having infinite backpack. Now, yeah, you
can end up trivializing most of the combat, because you can just hover around and shoot down, but apart from that, it's just so fucking wonderful being able to actually use the jet pack to get somewhere without having to stand around like a fucking mofo just to watch it recharge, especially with the massively shit controls of the game getting you stuck in places all the time as your jetpack runs out, and then you die, reload, and have to stand there waiting for it to recharge because the charge of your jetpack isn't saved when saving, but persists between loads.
It also helps avoiding the complete retardation that is the companion AI as they shoot their AoE into the ground next to you over and over; you can simply hover up a bit so you don't get hit by their constant attempts at AoE-spamming through a fucking roof.
You guys should try it. It honestly improves the game immesurably and makes everything feel a lot less sketchy. I never have to worry about the avatar suddenly not grabbing onto something like you expected them to, and instead jump, but being able to catch mid-jump, fly between two platforms, and as you activate your jetpack, get caught under the platform, deplete the jetpack before I can get away from under it, and then fall down, and have to climb up again because no shit now my jetpack is depleted.
I've never had a cheat make a game so much better before, that I can think of.
