Personally I found stories about how noble Red Army soldiers liberated Poland more amusing.

There is a major difference: Red Arly really did most of the dirty work in kicking Nazi asses.
But one may found amusing whatever one like. It didn't really matter there. Well, until that one state something like "Poland was liberated by american military might". But I, for some reason, don't think, that you want to join to that guy in his quest to look like ignorant retard.
The joke is more on the fact that liberating is something the Red Army was certainly not ever intent on doing.

Another funny thing is that Americans are equally ignorant of the massive impact Lend-Lease had on the course of the war and how pivotal it was for the Red Army's counter-offensive.

Compared to Nazi occupation became satellite of Soviet Union could be called a liberation.
Also what lend-lease of mostly non-military goods have to do with military strenght and actual fighting? Elighten me, please. Since it was claimed, that it american military strenght, that helped Poland, not the fact, that they support SU economically during the war.

You're going way off track again dude, I was talking about the fact that the same people who talk about American military might winning WW2 (which is false) don't know that American economic might was pivotal to winning the war.

Also, since you asked, the Red Army's success in launching a counter-offensive (not talking about succesful defense here) was dependent on Lend-Lease. The Soviet Union only managed to produce 92 locomotives for use in their railway-based transportation system (due to the demands of heavy military equipment like tanks leading to critical shortages in everything else), a key element in succesfully providing the logistics for the Red Army. The USA provided Soviet Union with 9,200 locomotives and over 11,000 railcars during that same time. Similarly, the US provided the Soviet Union with hundreds of thousands of military trucks, essentially single-handedly motorizing the Red Army. Beyond this various other essentials, like high-octane fuel and the very important food aid was provided. You can ask GarfunkeL for a detailed lecture, he's the resident expert on this thing.

That's basically why I find it funny that the same YEAH AMERICA #1 people who subscribe to the "America beat the Nazis on the battlefield" are ignorant of the real American feat in WW2, that of the tremendous industrial and economic heart it provided for the Allied war effort.

You realize that 90% of modern military is logistics? That's what the US provided, so that the Soviets could focus on churning out T-34s like a boss. Turns out that you can't fight a war when you can't feed or supply your troops.

In any case, the mere fact that the US deadlocked Japan saved the Soviets from being overrun. In this way, the US focused on it's strengths of production, churning out Lend Lease to support the allies, Navy to fight the Japs/Germans and ensure its safe delivery, ASW to strangle Japan of goods and air superiority/strategic bombing to demolish both sides.

Funny enough, I want to make similiar point, but thought that it would lead too far away from current subject. My mistake.

You could also add to that oil embargo on Japan, that considered as one of two things, that prevent Soviet Union to lead war on two fronts, that could turn very bad not only for SU, but the whole world.
Also it important to note, that WW2, like WW1, actually strengthened USA economically and established them as superpower in the same time as european power destroyed themselves. Which is the reason of their current dominance, not their military victories.

Y'all just haters. It's like Mayweather... don't blame us that there isn't a decent challenger to go toe to toe with.

There was one.

US did have the considerable advantage in both cases of never having to wage war on their homeground. That's something most people advocating the "war is good for the economy" forget, that war is only good for the economy when it happens far away from you, with preferably a big fucking sea as a moat.

Just wait till Vietnam comes back for round #2.

People often talk like the Vietnamese kicked American butt or something. that isn't really true.

Political Vietnamese victory but military defeat.
Said the guy from the country that owes its modern military and political victories to the US.

Erm what? Political victories I guess that would be entering the NATO and EU so half of that depended on US, granted NATO is kinda weak right now. We have no military victories, all of our military actions serve the UN and NATO. You need to explain this to me, what victories?

If you meant victories from previous times we invaded Czechoslovakia successfully but that was with other Warsaw Pact countries. WW2 we lost. Before that we won vs USSR in 1920-21 with some help from Hungary and France (not much tho).

You know, that you just can't say one retarded thing and then completely change your words, without explaining your previous point first, right? Not to mention, that your second post is no less retarded than first.

You know, that you can't answer to a question with another question? Especially with a question completely unrelated to the first one.
Also, what you need this information for? I hope, that not for making another retarded post like " Said the guy from a country, that owing to America that number of times."

In any case, the mere fact that the US deadlocked Japan saved the Soviets from being overrun.
In 1941 Japanese realized that trying to expand in USSR is futile and that they should focus on expanding in the opposite direction, and on April 13, 1941 Japan and USSR signed a neutrality pact. An it was Japan which attacked and deadlocked itself on Americans.
