Elex 2 is just an asset flip of Elex 1. The same exact game, mostly on the same map, with a few tweaks here and there.Worth it with choice? You get Elex II on top of it though i hear that's a shit game lul.
So i loaded up the first (Expedition), which i own on steam but never played, and i'm already having trouble with 50% female ratio in ever possible role and didn't even make it past the character creation screen.
I asume Rome is even worse with full on niggers everywhere etc, right?
The Humble deal is a good one but this kind of shit is rustles my jimmies too much.
Must be amazing to be utterly unbothered by the world going down the drain. It must be exhausting to constantly be triggered by everything.
Viking's character building was too complicated IMO
They think this societal decline and collapse simply means more niggers on the screen. No. It means, eventually, niggers, whether robot niggers, KFC eating niggers or government niggers fucking you to Death. They really think any of this will stop or stay at this lvl, which midwits find comfy enough. NooooooMust be amazing to be utterly unbothered by the world going down the drain. It must be exhausting to constantly be triggered by everything.
I bet when they joke about white genocide some of them actually mean it and most would go with if it actually happened. They think this societal decline and collapse simply means more niggers on the screen. Prepare for veeery Uncomfy Times, dear Midwits
Yea I got the option to destroy the enemy once. No idea how I did it tho. Is it just random? Can you force it? I really can't fucking understand that retarded system. The main thing is that you want to destroy or completely rout the enemy.
You have to reduce the enemy forces below a certain point. I think you can also chase them as they flee. Can't really remember, it's been a while. Can you force it?
Viking's character building was too complicated IMO. In Rome, you have to develop a squad of blank slate praetorians in addition to yourself and your companions. It was too much for many people even with the system it has.

There's enjoyment to be had here, if you liked E1, but overall it just smacks of staleness and creative bankruptcy.
Expeditions: Rome is utter shite. This is coming from someone who thought Conquistador was a fun game, and Viking is one of the better isometric RPGs of the last 15-20 years. Huge letdown with Rome.
Didn't seriously play Viking yet, but I did play Conquistador a few hours and in comparison Rome is much better game. More developped systems (though some of them, like Legion command, quite obscure), more options in combat. I enjoyed the story that kills off Gaius Julius Caesar in a random skirmish and puts you in his place in history. Plus, unlike Conquistador, the visuals of Rome did not make my eyes bleed with ridiculous amounts of bloom.
Yup, I chose to follow the footsteps of real Julius Caesar and conquer Rome, which lead to several grand battles within the city walls.Didn't seriously play Viking yet, but I did play Conquistador a few hours and in comparison Rome is much better game. Did you finish Rome?
You should try Viking. It's a good game.
It exists so you can't grind camps as a way to max power/prosperity and get the best ending like Conquistador, there's more than enough time to do all the quests. Is it true the campaign has a time limit? Not a fan of such limitations of my freedom.
IIRC you have to build your village in a certain time in the prologue and I think there's a general time limit for the rest of the game too.
I have Viking in my libray, waiting for the proper time. Is it true the campaign has a time limit?
Almost sounds too good to be true!
I personally consider Viking one of the best isometric RPGs ever made, it felt like Fallout 1 with Vikings and more enjoyable combat.
Yes, I'm also in the pure historical setting camp.It also helps I love purely historical games without any draghun bullshit but your mileage may vary.
